considering VAT went down 2.5% since the last lot even if the club keeps the same price of S/Ts the price has increased. I dont believe it at all and of course there are 2 people who said no, what a surprise a rumour to cause even more resentment. Well i dont know the voting percentage on these things but 2 votes against the rest wont win.

everyone has accepted we are in league one next season

we are not going down -
what type of sick brain uses the tragedy of 50 people losing their jobs and their famillies detriment to try and get polital points on an internet forum. LC and RL have made more money in their careers than 99% of people on here. No points can be made out of peoples misery over a damned game.
-
I think it is sad that redundancies are being used as an arguement in support or against any party. Pretty sad and pathetic thread. These are peoples lives that are being used as a tool for pathetic reasons.

Phoning Adams at his sons 5th birthday party to tell him he was sacked, lovely famil club even RL wouldnt do that. It is amazing that people want to buy Pompey when the could have other clubs. It always makes me wonder why.

but we are not going into administration whatever. RL (dare I say his name, or if you prefer RL with LC's ideas)has cut the clubs losses. IF we stay up the club will be better equipped to build on what we have. Some more of the big earners will be gone in the summer and then we can do what other clubs in this league have to do is live within your means. If we go into administration the ground that we have paid a large amount of money bck on will drop into the lap of Aviva.Instead of owning the stadium in X amount of years we will be paying renyt on it.i doubt that the rent would be very much less than the repayments as it is an asset that Aviva have paid £20 m + for and so will need a return on their money. So immediately the major cost to us now is still there. It is paramount that the fans see that if we stay up administration could be a worry of the past.A new tv deal starts to come into play and our squad would have cut its teeth in this league ready and better prepared for next season. If we stay up and results improve the gates will increase slightly and we can then build from there. For all you who are prepared to lie down and die because we are 4 points adrift i worry for you. i know Im more optimistic than many but i can see that we are far from over at this moment in time.If we lose the next 2 games and say 8-10 points adrift then i will be more understanding to the idea of administration.I will still go next season if we have been in administration and the team has been stripped of AS, KD, AL and all the rest and we have Pulis and co as our star players due to the rest being sold by the administrator.

interesting that Wotte said because of the internet first. Saga getting in trouble as well! I had mentioned on here a togetherness in the squad and Wotte alludes to that.I am starting to think he is getting better and what he says is correct. He may just be getting through to the players.

I would and I suspect the many hardcore fans who are saints fans, the plastics deserted us ages ago.
-
Are you for real with that comment? It may hurt MW but RL wont be too devastated financially. he will still have his home and river bank to fish on and go shooting , while saints fans will trudge to watch L1 football at best. forget not the victims whose busainesses will be effected by bad debt.It will hurt a lot more small people than those 2

So it was an accident then?

Survival Plan - A real vision to save Saints..?
OldNick replied to SaintRobbie's topic in The Saints
Robbie im sure you have conjured the list up in all good faith but dont't you think you should not be xampaigning for the managers rmovaljust yet? Many say we are a laughing stock as a club, but the fans to call for them nager to be sacked after 3 games!!!!!! Wotte may have been brought in at the same time but he did not have control over tactics coaching and teams etc.Give us a break supporting saints is tough enough let alone this strife all the time. -
i dont understand, are you implying there was an incident between the US and Russian subs?
-
I have become diencchanted with the national team for many years. To watch players who are earning £35pw upwards and cannot control the ball drives me mad.To see the Spaniards caress the football and play such beautiful football hurts when I look at our lot.i have criticised beckham in the past and find it galling he has got as many caps as a real great in Bobby Moore, but he did play with heart desire and with skill. Upson as an international centre half just shows how little there is to pick from. The PL was always going to be at the detriment of England and as we have the sides packed with foreign players the English coming through dont get a chance or enough experience. crouch has lost his edge as well he tries to chest everything down and by the time it gets to the ground the defender nicks it away.
-
Perhaps the softer side of SFC might be what we need.i personally dont thnk she is the right person and too intelligent no doubt to take the poisoned chalice on.
-
I expect they look on here as do Radio hants because its useful to see what gets a section of fans debating. That in turn is used to coax listeners and readers if they hit on news that fans are talking about. So you are right in a way as the agenda may be set at times by what is sparking forums.
-
Are you saying that you think this forum has more readers than the echo!!
-
you'll get the wrath of Alpine when he sees your original post StR lol
-
Its nit worth thinking about.I supect the results in the next few weeks will have a massive bearing on it.i cant recall what date it has to be done by,sometime in march i think. We are not dead yet we have been in a lot worse positions than this before.
-
It all depends who you have at the wheel, a boy racer or Police qualified instructor.it depends where you stand which one you believe is in control. For me the Wilde bunch were the boy racers. If you believe that the protests will help our club to better performances then go down that route, it matters not 1 jot what i think. We may be doomed whatever as we seem to have a death wish on both sides.I want RL gone(and the rest as well) as the club may have a more unified fanbase. The SU game last season was superb as it was the first time in a long time I saw Saints fans with real smiles on their faces, we had escaped by the skin of our teeth but sadly the skin is thinner this season.

I have been supportive of the club staying out of administration.Show me where I have been supportive of Jan.I could see (and know) some of the problems the club was up against financially. In principle using the acadamy is a sound idea but it always needed a few of the older players in the side.Jan could not communicate and didnt talk tactics. His substitutions were poor and his reading of the game also. I was prepared to give the man a chance as i was NP. I dont think NP is a fantastic manager.Time will tell , next season will tell us more when his squad plays up against tougher opposition. They should neve gone down but they wre complacent and also didnt take to Holloways methods. I am happy that you are with Alpine are you related ('Aust'saint) If you shout negative enough times you will get some right, it is easier to be critical than positive and I could say time and again if you dont play world class players you are not going to be successful. We have no divine right to afford the star players we had, they had to be shipped out as the club could not afford them, if it was so easy every team in the CCC would have them. Financial restraints come first and foremost, football first is a joke and people who believe that football comes before finance are naive, whoever is in charge of the club.
-
may i also add you ought to go onto the thread about 2 of our footballers said to have assaulted a fan and put up your disgust about all the puns about takeaway food.If you haven't read it you'd better because you could go on and be outraged.lol
-
Alpine I doubt you know what a smile is, i doubt you could in real life be as dour and humourless negative and depressing as you come over on here.
-
My god, the messiah the man who told us that having to lose the best players and play the youth wouldn't work, nobody else would have sensed that. the fact that we were shipping money and couldnt sustain it failed to regisiter. You are such a visionary. How about you telling us again about your constant support of the Wilde bunch, how you argued until you were blue in the face that they were the choice to take us to bright future. That i was a Lowe luvvie and so couldnt see the truth, dont give us that Alpine you were one of many that were sceptical, many were prepared to try it as a way of keeping out of administration.Jan could not get the home victories and that is his downfall, the away results were more than satisfactory all things considered." more home wins and we would be far more relaxed about things.

Its what Corp Doh told me

Rupert Lowe's Vision Has Failed , he should go to Specsavers then
