  1. Well we seemed to make slightly hard work in the first half but come through in the end. Please for Che and his brace, and Ballard the well'ard for his single goal Glad for paynie and Diamond as well. Good to see us blooding the youngsters. Would like Bompey in the next to give them some sort of south coast rivalry, god bless'em, even if we don't see it that way.
  2. As it says on the tin. Only build up here please. This one can go either way. We know that Manure have been disappointing but the Liverpool win may be the start of their season. For me a hopeful 2-1 again, after going down 1-0 which seems to be the fashion at the time.
  3. Who are you, Jason Puncheon!!!!!
  4. into extra time.......
  5. aaaaahhhhh fuck off 1-1
  6. Shame we cant sign Mary Earp
  7. Toooooooonnnne 1- 0
  8. Enjoying the game Been enjoying Woman's football since the World Cup in Canada in 2015. I was working a split shift so nothing to watch on TV at 1am in the morning until I saw England v Mexico on BBC 2. Thought it would do me, so enjoyed it with my Pizza and Cider in my hotel room. Saw all the matches including the final. Watched it ever since. Very tight game first half. Here's hoping for the second. And for those that don't like it or rate it, there's a bond film on ITV. Thunderball with Sean Connery. It was made in 1965 which will fit in with your attitudes.
  9. If we are going down the Sid James/Carry on route, shouldnt it be Bristols? You know, as in Bristol Citys?
  10. And of course.......Rainbow
  11. oooooooh nooooo. Loved Joe when he played for us, but he's no pundit I am afraid, and sometimes he is so far behind the action he'll talk over a chance. Sorry, he's not my bag. What a\bout Dean Hammond? He is quite Knowledgeable and has interesting insights.
  12. Same here. Lived across the road from School so was home for Pipkins, Jaime and the magic torch, Cholton and the Wheelies and Nan straight in for the Sullivans.
  13. What at 12.30 weekday on itv? Why weren't you at school? My nan used to watch it. Confused her a little as we had a Sulllivan family living upstairs
  14. It wasnt a sitcom, it was a soap with the Hamiltons and the Palmers Mum used to watch it along with A Bouquet of Barb Wire and Within These Walls
  15. I just got this recently on Xbox. I am VERY disappointed. I have played FM going back to the old CM days. Looked forward to this, and this is the first time I have played it on a console. Never again. It's like a dumbed down version for the American market. A lot of the decent uplifts have gone, no team talk, not individual talks to players, you can only have a team meeting if your assistant manager deems one, and the options are poor. The only thing going for it is the graphics are good, but stuck with the generic badges, (not sure how to get logo packs, if that is even possible) and now images, (same issue). Oh and I know why its like that and image rights. Also the game engine seems to be lacking any decent decision making. JWP in two seasons has score NO free kicks,(I had to get Redmond) where as Declan Rice can score from anywhere. If I play a top 4 team, they will score in the first 15 minutes, and if not, they will then get a penalty on about 35 - 39 minutes. Change of tactics has no effect, even my own, which it is difficult to set up. My next game has been my last for the last 15 games, (The Ralph effect?). And during the game, if you Assistant Manager makes a suggestion, you better be fast on the old controller, as it disappears quite quickly and you have to wait for it to come back. It just doesn't feel the same. My laptop is too old to do it a service, which is why I bought it for Xbox and stream to laptop. Never again though. I'd send it back if I hadn't of down loaded it. Apparently its the 'touch' version. MLG, have a word. I cant believe it has to be toned down for the Xbox, what with its processing power and memory. Rant over, and be warned.
  16. Pilchards angel, any chance of posting the article? And maybe, for a laugh, all wear Mortar Boards at the first home game next season. I've still got mine in the loft somewhere. Probably too late for tonight, and at Leicester tbf.
  17. Oohh My bad talking to someone with English as a second language. Thanks for pointing out If you give me £500 I'll go back and correct my error.
  18. I didn't know that
  19. I wore my Saints shirt whilst on holiday in Cyprus last week. A bar man pointed my shirt and said, 'Southampton, what they for?' I said, 'They are a football team in the Premiership.' He said, 'I know. But Southampton, what they for? They win big clubs, they lose small clubs. What they for?' Turns out he's a fan, as he supports Pathos and Jason Puncheon plays for them now. Taught him, "He shits when he wants! He shits when he wants! Jason Puncheon, He shits when he wants!" So, Ralph. Southampton, what we for? 2-0 by the way to us.
  20. I thought exactly the same thing.
  21. Just saw Martin Keown on the news. When asked about the match he replied West Ham still have time to get back in this.
  22. Poor, poor, West Ham Ralph has proven once again how much we are full of crap as supporters And we have shut up the commentators. Smileeeee
  23. Broja.................................
