With respect it would be a bit unfair to compare Exeter to Wolves,whilst Wolves are languishing near the bottom of the table Exeter have had a fairly decent season so far and their results are not to dissimilar to our own. Whilst I still believe we should come out on top I don't expect it to be quite as one sided as some think. If Saints are to prove themselves as worthy title contenders then 6 points from 6 is a must tomorrow and Tuesday.

I was at that game too,and as I did on the day I still question why he couldn't have played with the same enthusiasm and heart as he did that second half all the time. I love that people keep reminding me that he still plays in the Prem as if I don't know. I never said he was a bad player,I said I thought he was **** when he played for us and know many many others agree with this.

Sorry but Fuller was one of the laziest disinterested strikers i've ever seen in a Saints shirt. People didn't care that he came from Pompey, people cared that he didn't give a damn.

Agree with Thedelldays,from about 20 minutes there was only going to be one winner today. I put our slow start down to not having played competitive football for over 2 weeks,once we got into the swing of things we were totally unplayable. Good to see Lambert put in a performance like that of last season,hopefully that goal will be a springboard for him. Credit to Fonte and Jaidi at the back again,whilst Jaidi may not have the legs any more his aerial ability and man marking skills are invaluable in this league. Struggled to understand why Barnard remained on the bench for the whole of the match, thought Guly was woeful once again, one of the most frustrating strikers i've seen in a Saints shirt since Ricardo Fuller.

Hope we get a permanent deal sorted for him soon, gave us a bit of bite in midfield when he came on today. IMO he's given more to the team in a few games than Morgan has in two and a half seasons.

Despite reading about Brentfords good away from in the Echo this week I was still confident this would be a hardfought yet comfortable win, how clearly wrong I was. We were just **** today,not poor or bad,just ****ing ****. Some people complain Pardew had no plan B but its fair to say following the games at Carlisle and today neither does Adkins. Why was no effort made to strengthen our squad during the loan window? Its clear for most to see how lacking in depth we are at the moment, as soon as I heard Barney and Fonte were out I thought we'd struggle because there's not much fight in our squad without them. Hope there really is money to strengthen in January and its not just talk to appease the fans as its going to be another year of League 1 football otherwise.

I'm currently at the game and can confirm we are dog ****. The first goal really was a howler by Kelv,expect that'll be on a few football gaffe dvds in the future. Hard to tell what happened with the 2nd from the Northam.

What a lot of people fail to realise is the season prior to last S****horpe managed to reach the JPT final AND achieve promotion via the play offs. The whole belief that getting to the final stopped us going up is complete ********. It's more to do with **** performances at places like Wycombe and Exeter, not to forget our poor start to the season.

Fail to see why you call it pathetic that some of us want to get knocked out. Personally I don't care much for the FA Cup right now, we're not going to win it and I'd much rather we focused all our efforts on getting out this ****ty league. The Cheltenham game already cost us injuries to Lambert, Richardson and Holmes, as well as seeing Fonte banned for the next game. I'd rather not take any chances that could jeopardise a promotion push.
