Was on bench for there last game and came on for last 10 minutes. Has made 6 appearances but all from the bench

When we signed Ings, he wasn’t a proven goal scorer but an injury prone player with a lot of potential. He then proved himself to be a proven top goal scorer thanks to us. Armstong has been signed with potential and hopefully can get somewhere near ings goal scoring ability.

They never do unless it’s about Kane, mbappe etc

Everton 3-1 Saints - Match Thread
Saint Charminster replied to Yorkshire Saint's topic in The Saints
Lots of huff and puff, no real quality. Our goal was a good finish on a Everton error, apart from that we never looked liked scoring or creating anything. The usual capitulation and defensive issues just confirms a long hard season a head and Nothing has changed from last season apart from few changes In personnel. -

They have agreed a fee with fiorentina, unless they are after 2 defenders. He may be fond of West Ham but that’s totally different to West Ham actually bidding for him. -

Mario Lemina - Official: Signs for Nice
Saint Charminster replied to Heisenberg's topic in The Saints
Difference is clubs were genuinely interested in Van Dijk, the same can’t be said of Lemina! -
Bound to be a bubble to ****hole Park like last time

Unfortunately I live in a ‘Saints’ reality where, transfer window, deadline day do not belong in the same sentence as a glorious day. But I live in hope....

Was it Marco Almeida, who played for us very briefly at CB? -
This would be a poor decision if it was only a loan with no obli To buy. I understand Ralph’s transfer policy of reducing the squad and not bringing players in for the sake of it. Ralph has already said that with the players currently in the squad he cannot play a back 4 as we are weak at the back, so it means continually playing a back 3. Which is ok when Yoshida comes back to support our existing centre backs. It leaves our wing back situation extremely weak and inexperienced with valley and Ramsay on the right and target and Bertrand on the left. Other posters have mentioned that Stephens and Bednarek can play right back or wing back but they have no pace or fit in to Ralph’s attacking pacey ideal for that position. I really hope we have someone lined up to replace Cedric and it’s not just selling for the sake of it! Cedric may not be everybody’s cup of tea but I would rather keep him until the summer and then sell.

The question normally being about ‘the beers crap in the ground, can’t you get Stella....
-
The club seem to be very vague about his injury and what is exactly the issue is with his stomach. Which leads too questions than answers!
-
Yes I would, can’t believe he’s been out 5hus length off time with a stomach problem.....

Good turn out needed, with good noise. Hopefully after last weekend the players respond. The last thing we need after Arsenal is the Cardiff fiasco! -

Going by Puels recent comments about Fonte, the club have gone from not letting Fonte go until we have a replacement to letting him go and we might replace him! -

I don't either, sakho is awful for that money plus wages and gabbiadini would be a decent loan at best considering his goal record this season. -
Is the quality of football any better now than 20/30/40years ago?
Saint Charminster replied to OldNick's topic in The Saints
I remember watching saints play Liverpool at the Dell in 1983 and beating Liverpool 2-0, Danny Wallace got both goals. The quality of football was as good as any of any recently. -
According to harry kewell on but sport, the Norwich player wasn't in a goalscoring position. Wasn't a yellow card offence
-
Poor result considering we put out a stronger team than I thought. Reed, Sins, Lewis & Stephens aside it was first team selection based on puel rotation. We still have the same issues, lack of goals from our forward players and as per the las few games horrendous goals conceded. If we had played a younger side as didn't expect VVD or Bertrand to play and was surprised Tadic started, I would of expected max draw at best.
