NickG Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Think he was Marketing Mgr for FA, then Everton, then us, then Leicester. When did he leave Leicester? Does anyone know much more about him?
Noodles34 Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Two questions, remind me, AO was around when Wilde was in charge, yes? Nothing to do with Rupes, why did he leave, was it when RL came back? And more interestingly, does this open the door for other former directors to return (I sincerely hope not), I mean no one saw this one coming did they (apart form the couple of ITK's)? Badger Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Part of the Hones-Hoo team. Came shortly after they were appointed. Left with Hones and Dulieu after the SISU deal was rejected.
Badger Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Just researched this by google from a fans meeting at Leicester : http://www.lcfc.com/page/FansConsultativeCommittee/0,,10274~1404282,00.html AO's contribution was music after goals.
Bailey Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 I just hope no other former Board members are re-appointed now. Oldknow isn't linked to Lowe or Wilde or any of that lot is he? I'll completely relax when the new Board is announced and we know the situation both on and off the field.

Badger Posted 8 July, 2009 Share Posted 8 July, 2009 Strange, but if Hoos returns it a great coup.If Hone returns then its a retrograde step back towards the dark ages.

buctootim Posted 9 July, 2009 Share Posted 9 July, 2009 I'd like to know Nicola Cortese's shoe size and how he met his first girlfriend. Perhaps you could ask Oldknow after you've stalked and polygraphed him.

You're right, of course. I think Markus should get Mr. Mugabe in to head up the catering - we don't want standards to slip. Not sure I'd fancy the burgers, though. thegaffer Posted 9 July, 2009 Share Posted 9 July, 2009 If AO was at Leicester with NP then maybe he will be returning as well!
SaintRobbie Posted 9 July, 2009 Share Posted 9 July, 2009 One point people should also consider when evaluating AO. He was one of the people who found the SISU deal that had it been accepted may have seen us as a mid table CCC side with a half decent manager right now ie Coventry. That would be slightly better than the position we currently find ourselves in. He's a Saint now and has done more than anyone to put this deal together. He might be unpopular but frankly he has determination and produces results. Sounds OK to me. Staff wont all like him, but this is a results driven business and we have a driver.
