I think it will be a close game

Saints have been getting better with every game - and have added players to the squad who will go straight in to the first team in Waigo and Jaidi

and with Trotman and Hammond recent additions to the squad as well its not the same team that started the season

despite not having won a game yet - we haven't lost at home in the league yet either

we are going to beat someone sooner or later - so why not Charlton?

and I'm not sure Charlton will have faced a team yet with players of the quality of Saga, Lallana and Schneiderlin

it does sound like the think they are as unlucky and afflicted as Saints fans though - they have no idea do they!?!?

As per my post on the prediction thread...a Charlton supporting friend of mine says they have been lucky thus far and teams have shown them far too much respect. Let's wait and see........I suspect I could be eating humble pie on Saturday evening, just for a change!

They've got Bailey (WHO?) & Racon (WHO?) as doubts and we've got Jaidi & Waigo starting....... make of that what you will and our reasonable form at Charlton and you come up with .....2-0 to Saints!

I assume you're being sarcastic there. When Charlton beat us at St Mary's last season, Racon scored their second goal and Bailey scored the third. They are 2 of the best midfielders in the league and Bailey is also a major goal threat. I never believe it when the opposition team says they have key players doubtful. They usually make a miraculous recovery. I'm sure we'll see both players in the starting line-up on Saturday.

On their forum somebody thought that we would pack our defence and hit them on the break. If Parky thought that, I think he is in for a bad surprise. I think that we will play open attacking football with a solid defence giving us the encouragement to foray forward. We have to give them the respect that they deserve as leaders of the division, but if they don't respect us in return, they could pay for it by surrendering their unbeaten record.
