Saint_clark Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Fit again then? Should do him some good to rip that league apart for a while.
disconnect Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 He's quite a lot better than that level!!! Would've expected him to stroll into a league two side, but oh well, hopefully it's not too easy. Might as well have loaned him to Eastleigh and still trained with Saints. Would've expected him to stroll into a league two side, but oh well, hopefully it's not too easy. Might as well have loaned him to Eastleigh and still trained with Saints. It's only one level below League Two. I suspect it's only to regain fitness as well.
disconnect Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 You missed the point about him still training with Saints etc who are in theory two leagues better than anyone he'll be training with. I'm not saying it would happen, but surely as it's just for match time might have been possible.

saints-cris Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Good news he's back to fitness, really rate the guy. Had a little spell last season where he had a good run. Waaayyyy better than conference level, so a cracking signing for them to be honest. Would only be just for fitness I'm guessing, but hopefully he'll rip that league to shreds and get back into contention for our first team. Yeah, I also thought he should be above that level. I guess it's all about games under the belt.
LeBenali Posted 29 November, 2009 Share Posted 29 November, 2009 Scored for them today away at Chester, however, the game got abandoned after 75mins due to a protest from the home supporters. All part of the learning curve I guess!!

Ken Tone Posted 30 November, 2009 Share Posted 30 November, 2009 Amazed and rather worried that he's gone to non-league. He looked far far better than that last season, and I expected him to be pushing at the door of our first team by now if he was fit. I hope this doesn't mean he isn't getting actually back to full fitness after a serious injury and will never be the same player again. Would be a real shame after so much promise. K.
