Message to all those teams of L1 hod-carriers still to play Saints at home

We need Mawhinneys parting act to be a rule that says L1 pitches need to double-up as bowling greens...

FFS, get your head out of cloud cuckoo land. We're not going up this season and the football league certainly aren't going to help us out with ridiculous rule changes.

It's time you dropped this myopic pro-Saints ecstacy and brought yourself back down to reality. Not everything is as rosey as you would like to make out.

Tell me, how are the pitches and stadia we visit going to improve NEXT season ?

Teams have to grind out results to get promoted. We are a f**king joke in this department.

Really?!? So the traditional cup upset has never been based on a dog of a pitch, has it? If you have fast players who can dribble and pass, what's that got to do with their ability to play on a rugby pitch, which is basically only fit for long ball football aimed at a big unit in the box.

I'm happy that we didn't lose. It's a shame that we didn't take one of the few chances we had, but that's the sort of game we usually lose.

I dont know you from Adam, my friend, but your comment here just sums up a large section of our fan base, I'm afraid...

No it doesn't! it just highlights your constant gripes and total lack of any CONSTRUCTIVE suggestions - it's so easy to moan, gets you nowhere tho.

1) Games like tonight happen, shrug it off, learn from it, move on.

2) Playoffs are possible until the maths say otherwise,

3) Pardew has done a great job so far - more to come

4) Spending loads of money doesn't buy you an instant great team - it buys you a group of good players who over time you develop into a good team.

You ain't my friend. If you were, I'd tell you to cheer the f*ck up, and to stop being a miserable c*nt.

But you're not, so I won't. ;)

How about "Benji talks B*ll*cks", since that is what you have clearly done here.

From a quick look at the League table there appear to be 4 teams with a better away record than us.

I presume when you talked about "grinding out results" you were talking about away matches, unless you want us to "grind out results" at home (sure you'd love it). If you think 5th is a "****ing joke" then I do wonder what you would do if you were a Gillingham fan.....
