Gemmel Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Don't know if we could do it financially, but Paul Jewell, has said that Savage is available to go out on loan. Tac-tics Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Sorry but he is a ****..... arrogant for a ****e footballer. would not offer anything to the team other than weekly fines for bookings.
saintbob40 Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 for those of us who went to the Derby game, thats a big no! He sat in the centre circle on a sofa, eating hob knobs, drinking tea and watching a box set of the X Files (Series 5). The game continued around him, quite well as it turned out! Dirty, nasty, horrible little ****....... Just what we could do with TBF he was Gillet's be-atch at Pride Park, he had him in his back pocket. Always liked Savage's contribution but he is a spent force.

Andy_Porter Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 There's a good reason why Paul Jewell wants rid. I'd rather have Gillett, Schneiderlin and Wotton.

ottery st mary Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Thought he wanted to live back nearer to North Wales to be near his mother. A reson he left the Midlands before. No matter how much they want to pay of his wages he is not even a CCC player anymore. Trouble will always be close at hand.

trousers Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Worth a try. Get him in on a month's 'free' trial and with Derby agreeing to pay 75% of his wages if we keep thereafter (on a "he shows committment or return" basis) IF he plays well then he is definately what we've been missing this last few years - a bulldog in midfield. Absolutely nothing to lose if you analyse it logically and secure the right deal.
Andy_Porter Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Nothing to lose? What about harmony in the dressing room? There is always something to lose, especially with a **** like Savage.
trousers Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 Nothing to lose? What about harmony in the dressing room? Nah...can't see it....these are professional footballers we're talking about....surely they're clever enough to rise above potential dressing room chit chat..... Window Cleaner Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 (edited) Don't know if we could do it financially, but Paul Jewell, has said that Savage is available to go out on loan. Dirty, nasty, horrible little ****....... Just what we could do with He would never come here, do not forget that at some time in the distant past it was firmly announced to Savage(from the terraces) that someone's (can't remember who)sister was harder than he. He took it very badly apparently, probably in his Birmingham days. Edited 23 September, 2008 by Window Cleaner
benjii Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 According to a Derby forum I laughed at after the match, he's on £26k a week!
Window Cleaner Posted 23 September, 2008 Share Posted 23 September, 2008 They have even said they will heavily subsidise wages if necessary. Perhaps they could just give us the wage subsidy and keep Savage.
