Areas Of The Club To Boycott

With the rip off ticket tax, and the shoddy treatment of fans who cannot afford to pay for season tickets in one hit, it is going cost a lot of us a damn site more to watch third division football next season.

Cortese must be laughing his head off at the complaints because he thinks he has us over a barrel and the mugs will moan but they'll have to put up with it and pay more.

However the extra spent on tickets can be clawed back by boycotting the club programme, club merchandise (including the new shirt), matchday hospitality, the travel club, and food and drink on the concourse. I'm not saying a blanket boycott is needed, but I for one will be making a conscious effort to spend less on the extras next season.

where the f*ck do you think the extra money we're making is going? We're spending millions of pounds on players, it's not as if Markus is pocketing all our money and putting nothing back into the club. You want to watch a successful team who spends money to get out of this league? Then you have to be willing to pay more.

Absolute Idiot.

LMAO!

If you only have a certain budget for football, then i understand you wanting to cut back on other elements to offset the higher ticket price you will pay.

However if you are now just on a mission to try and get one over the club because you think they have deliberately gone out to rip you off, then i think this action is pathetic!

I agree with the opening the post.

The rest of you can continue applauding being charged more money.

NC should at least have had the decency of just increasing the ticket price by £3 rather than the ridiculous add ons.

Where possible pay on the day away from home so they dont get the £3 just for the privilidge of sending you a ticket.

can't believe others can't see THE CLUB ARE TAKING THE ****

just treat it as an increase of £3 on every ticket...

at least this way, you have an option of getting a £3 reduction if you can be bothered

I didn't know that SWF had a militant wing!

It's always had one. Now that there is no real issues to campaign about they will have a go at anything.

Well, if it keeps them happy, let the lunatic fringe carry on.

Good point on the programme & food and drink - it does offer some scope to adjust spending although its still more about the principle than the cost for me

But wouldn't that have given rise to the 'transparency' accusation? I'd rather the ticket price was broken down into 'cost' + 'profit mark-up' than all being absorbed in to one unfavomable total.

Why are some so blind to what the complaints about? & so ignorant to where this is leading & then rude to those who use the forum to express it?

I'm not bothered by it to be honest and don't think many people really care. If you can afford a ST buy one, if not don't. You can still go to single games!

I have to say I think you moan like a spoilt woman, our club is in such a good position and all you can you is moan regardless, get over it.

yes isnt he .. fancy trying to save the money he is having shell out else where on the ticket tax etc .. so do explain why readjusting his budget makes him a di*******

Would like to know if his budget contains monies for cup runs! Or if we make it to Wembley again he will just manage to find the money like a lot of people did!

Don't remember hearing DUNE complain about going to wembley and how unfair it was for the club not to give him 3 months notice so he could save up his pocket money!

Not so blind or ignorant (in the true sense) but losing the will to live at the innane waffle people put on this board - this 'lets start a revolution' is just guff and you know it.

Far easier to save for one ticket than the cost of a season ticket, hth

There is a vast swathe of happy clappers that can't see past their own noses. We're in the Third Division FFS - if Cortese thinks he can rip us off to this extent now you can only imagine his plans for the future should we climb the leagues.

again, those on here (and there was a few) that loved to brag about how they "blagged" the ticket office and got hold of far more wembley tickets than they were entitled to..

I wonder how that compared to a season ticket cost..?

sure they probably shifted a couple (at face value to mates) but the day out etc would have cost quite a bit...

no one had an issue then

£50 ticket or £400 ticket, which is easier to save for? This doesn't affect me but some on here can do the mathes and find one of those figures too far to difficult to reach at short notice.

Lets all boycott SMS. Lets all boycott the OS. Lets make huge banners saying "We Want Our Club Back" and paste them all over the City. Lets do Demo's outside SMS. Lets... Not.

Let's just accept its the way it is. They wouldnt have done this to intentionally single out those who cant afford it and they have spent and continue to spend Millions on our club.

We are the 6th most expensive club to watch in the division. Stop moan moan moaning.

I'm sure some spent without due care and attention whilst others watched every penny, I took my daughter, about £200 was spent in all, I'm sure others spent a lot more whereas others spent a lot less
