Same sort of passion, same small ground, ageing but full of atmosphere, same type of spirit where no team took getting a result for granted. It may be the wee libation talking but I miss those days. Yes I know even then it was not a bed of roses, we had our down times ie Branfoot etc, and some miserable players ie Speedy etc, but we also had some stars play for us. Which brings me to Delldays post, had we managed to survive in the prem we could have held onto some of the players mentioned possibly and turning out displays like that of Fulham today.
