Should have bought a season ticket.

Response of a mong! As per others on here, we are season ticket holders and have our tickets would just like our families to be able to go as well. But just a comment on the ticket office and you get a schoolboy jerkoff reaction of 'I'm better than you because I have a season ticket'. Wrong! We're all fans, there is no hierarchy, you know nothing of other peoples situation. Mong! Rant over.......

The online ticket system is awful, compared to what I have used at other clubs, Fulham, Coventry, few German and Spanish. You should be able to logon, select the block you want and available seats should be highlighted for selection, once sold they are shaded and can no longer be bought. It works really well and allows the user to pick the exact seat of choice. These clubs also had scanners on the turnstiles, hopefully it is somthing the club are going to look at.

That would be a great idea.

I got through at 9.15 after a million attempts. The order was:

- 30x recorded fella saying "Sorry, all our operators are busy, please call later"

- Then connected but with soothing hold music for 10 minutes. Stay on the line

- Then it started ringing, and kept ringing for at least 5 minutes. Again stay on the line

- The spoke to the nice lady, who whilst a pleasure to speak to, wasn't the quickest.

All in all, with hold music, ringing and booking process combined, it took 25 minutes to book two tickets. At that rate for one booking, and with that antiquated online system basically useless, not surprised it's taking forever for people to get through on the lines.

Works a treat :D thanks for this number.

tried ringing 12 times and got through on the 13th attempt and on hold or 8 minutes - got my ticket :D

Don't bother with 0800

Same here, about 10-15 times, then it rang and rang fro ages, before going on hold, then ringing again for ages before matey answered.

Loads of tickets left in block 3 for the United game. Block 4 sold out.

Through on the JPT hotline at 12.40 after trying both numbers pretty solidly since 08-30 this morning, well chuffed as I was 50-50 on driving down last night and camping over, £50 saved on diesel!

I was queueing for 10 minutes and then the face to face transaction took at least 10 mins to go through!

A couple of time saving options for the future:

1 The Carlisle tickets are issued as straight duplicates of the Man U tickets - any changes can be made via the ticket office after the game. I heard all sorts of weird and wonderful combinations (of tickets and locations) going on in the background and my guy had to wait a couple of minutes to find me my Carlisle tickets .. I was quite happy to have the same seats but lots of people appeared to be making different choices ... this was confirmed when he came back and said he couldn't do the same seats.... duh!

2 Charge 50 quid for the United tickets (and pro rata the reduced prices) and include a 'voucher' for one remaining home game (or a choice of three games) (or one specific game) which we can then cash at our leisure after the big rush subsides.... a massive windfall today for NC and BT but I can't help but think that the local economy has taken a huge four-hour hit this morning!

Good luck everybody else, keep dialling, you will get through (eventually).

Number worked for me, kept re-dialling and eventually got through after about 20 minutes and 6 minutes holding, so much easier considering I was on a mobile.

Definitely goes through as member of my family got through just after me  so got them to check my order number. Cheers!!

Just got off the phone after trying since 930 on both lines ( got through on the 01 number) was then on hold for 20 minutes and booking for 15! - could only get tickets in different places but got block 2 and block 41! You will get through but don't expect it to be in 10 - 20 goes, it took me about 60! Good luck guys
