I'm finding the full game way more frustrating than the demo. Have had so many injuries its ridiculous. Seems that 2 players go off with knocks every single game! Have had Fraser and Danny Fox out injured about 3 or 4 times already. It took a while for me to get Rickie firing but he's looking good now. More of the same as before, nothing really new other then the ability to add new leagues. Which is great but feels just more of an update then a new title. The other thing is i still don't get how the game runs so slow for what it is. It is just a database but yet seems to hog all the processing power. I have a 4.6ghz processor and it still runs slow on that even though i have a very high end pc. In the Gamespot review they actually say that it is why it got only an 8 as in this day and age it shouldn't be like that. I hope for the next one SI can maybe create a new engine that is more in line with modern ones and isn't such a resource hog. The fact it runs slower then say a game like Battlefield 3 which is far more complex is a bit silly. Or games such as Total War which have bazillions of different things going on at the same-time. How much "power" should it use just tracking text code? If they could sort that out it would be great. Because to finish a season now takes a long long time. The 4-0 win over Sunderland in the cup was pretty special too. The draw with Leeds was disappointing, we dominated the whole game but Morgan gave away a silly penalty. Inesplicably lost my first league game to Millwall 2-0 after a good pre-season but then went on a 10 game winning streak to be 5 points clear after 11 games. Having a rough patch now. Stuck with the initial £5m budget rather than upgrading expectations and am now a little short of strength in depth. I also only spotted a few games in that I hadn't noticed any reserve team results and after checking my reserves have no fixtures at all for the whole season!! Benj Posted 25 October, 2011 Share Posted 25 October, 2011 Just had my two best results so far. 2-0 down away to Pompey at half-time, pulled it back to 2-2 before Chris Martin got himself a 2nd yellow for diving in the 89th minute and I thought I'd blown my chance of snatching the win, only for Harding to play a long ball over the top to Martinez in the 93rd minute for him to stick it in the top corner. Next game was away to Chelsea in the Carling Cup, came out very defensively but managed to go 2-0 down by the 40th minute, so switched to my normal style attacking style. Made a few signings but suffered 5 straight defeats: NPC - Saints 2 Reading 3 (Early penalty, Lambert off with a head injury just after half-time) LC - Charlton 4 Saints 3 (Cork sent off early on, came back from 4-0 down but couldn't get an equaliser) NPC - Donny 3 Saints 0 (Sharp tore us a new one, Fonte had a match rating of 4.2!) NPC - Saints 1 Birmingham 2 (Brum nicked a late winner courtesy of Curtis Davies) NPC - Watford 1 Saints 0 (Sordell scored early on, heads dipped and we were sh!te) I feel embarrassed. That happens every time I open the damn thing - no matter how many times it says it's done it. It then froze the first five or six times after I had launched it. Now, it wants an update of 2525.2MB. Why? The game is five days old! My internet connection is so bad, the speed is peaking at 58.4KB, so it's going to take all day to download.
