for_heaven's_Saint Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 Why were the big screens not on tonight?
Turkish Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 It ruined my matchday experience. The big screens have an anti saints agenda.
JonnyLove Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 Well due to the finances being poor, we have we could only afford to have either our Mascott or the TV's not both. (actually I think they may have been replaced and are new screens (due to the newness of how they looked more than the grey looking patches we normally have) so maybe either technical issue or not yet up and running)
st alex Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 The previous home match, the big screens were showing replays for key moments, which was nice. Although I'm not sure whether its allowed (as it could undermine the ref's decisions). So maybe we weren't allowed to have our big screens on today (purely speculation). Was annoying not knowing what the match time was though. I hope they use them again next match.

Pennyred Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 And the only clock on view was permanently hidden by numpty steward standing plumb in front of it.
Kingsland Red Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 Had to rely on the clock above the tunnel - very strange. Like adriansfc, I was surprised the 90th minute arrived so quickly, having been lulled into a soporific state by 35 minutes of sideways and backwards football. I believe somebody might have a clock for sale ... they might even chuck in a few toilets as well.

Talking of which the bogs in the Kingsland had run out of Hand dry paper towels for the second match in a row (if they were ver replaced?) This place is really going to the dogs. I think we should call a strike.

dune Posted 30 November, 2011 Share Posted 30 November, 2011 We are going pay per view. If you want to watch the big screen (an intrinsic aspect of the match-day experience) you will need to pay a 3 pound Television Tax and wear special Timmy Mallet glasses. Jordan Sibley commented "demand is sure to be high as fans clamour to be seen wearing the latest match-day fashion accessory".

The replays at the Brighton game were because we were the featured game on the Football League Show so the game was being edited live and broadcast overseas so that feed was just fed to the screens.
