There is nothing that I have seen of the two that suggests that Saga would be better for us than John. Purely on goals scored/ game John surely wins out. Purely on goals scored/ game John surely wins out. John has only really scored for us when Saga has been on the pitch (14 goals, compared to 5 when he isn't). John needs a hard working partner along side him and at the moment, we don't have anyone who fits the bill. Saga I believe can refind his scoring touch, if played in the correct way. I think his 3 goals this season so far would put him joint second in our scoring chart. He also puts pressure on the defence and would give us help in defending from the front. Did anyone see the Birmingham comeback last night? Two goals by Phillips!!! Amazing what can happen with a "real" goalscorer in the team.
