I think it's only being streamed live if you are a paid subscriber though which is a load of bollocks and not fair for us who obviously wouldn't want to subscribe for such a thing

I’ve just listened to the Total Saints Podcast and they were suggesting it may be shown on Sky.

Yeah, I was hoping it be streamed via Saintsplayer - not checked to see yet, but most of this type of thing gets included.

Thursday’s Premier League 2 play-off final missed out on being broadcast live on Sky Sports for the first time due to a dispute between Manchester City and Southampton over the game’s location.

The disagreement followed City breaching Premier League 2 rules by not having the Etihad Stadium available to host the fixture.

If Man City are in breach of the rules then how come we don't win by default? A case of the 'big boys' pulling the strings....? And, not only do they flout the rules, but they then get to broadcast the game exclusively on their subscription channel. I hope we've kicked up a stink rather than meekly agreeing to this bias...

And, talking of bias, why isn't it being hosted at a neutral venue anyway...?

With little else to celebrate this season, I’ve decided to buy a months pass to watch the game tonight…if we’re there in the final we must have a chance of actually winning it, plus it’ll be nice to see some of the young talent we’ve got waiting in the wings to break through into the first team. There’s no other streams available by the looks of it and £4.99 is not too bad for a bit of entertainment.

Good luck Saints U21’s! COYR!

Apparently the game is being shown on SkySports PL2 channel, however I can’t find it on my streaming platforms.

Supposed to be Sky Sports PL and the app but apparently  got pulled due to something to do with Man City and rights?

Appreciate the commentary, keep it coming... but can we please get some good news soon? 😉

I would love to provide some. Trouble is we’re not really doing anything of note except of course moving the ball nicely in our own half.

You call it as you see it, mate. Don't want it sugarcoated - just hope we start to make something happen.

I’ve lost count of the number of balls played long forward that go straight to a City player.

We look very much like a team playing Russ football - slow, predictable and no bite.

Very disappointing but not surprising considering Man City invest a crazy amount recruiting the best youth players

Maybe, but we’ve got decent players and City are not all that - our tactics are just terrible…every attack starts with 11 oppo players behind the ball, too many slow passes sideways and backwards, no runners to split lines and when we lose the ball the press is ineffective.

Now where have we seen that before?!

The bits I saw of the Palace game I thought they moved it quite quickly. Has the confidence evaporated like the first team. The defending in that clip was appalling.

Missing Robinson tonight (suspended?), he might have been an important cog in the flow of the attacking play.

Robinson is with the first team squad for Arsenal

Cheers, I just saw he got booked in the last leg, so I took a wild guess 😄
