That's a truly horrendous away day really, I can't see getting tickets for Pompey away being a problem if we're doing the same.

Looks like travel price has been reduced.

Surely they will all need to arrive in one go so coaches will be a convoy, Fratton to Lakeside then on to Winchester then all travel together from there? Could make it a two hour journey from Fratton then , if I was them I'd get the train to Winchester to limit time stuck on a bus

After the game is going to be a problem as no doubt a lot will go rogue and not get onto the coaches

They didn't cause any issues last time did they?

Though I've often wondered how the old bill would handle it if a group managed to break out of the so called sterile area. Try and force them back in or accept it and do a hasty escort to the station?

Latter obviously not an option for the first game.

The club will love the exchange for this game, give a credit for 1/23rd of the season ticket price then sell your seat for a Cat A* ticket price, nice extra margin there

They will be held in and escorted 200 yards to their coaches.

Just seen their coaches are leaving Fratton at 8.30am, with an aim to arrive at St Mary’s by 9.30am! Honestly, talk about ruining these two games 😂

Certainly by 10ish. What time is the ground opening? Will the bars be open?! They'd better bring a good book to read.

Fratton Park (PO4 8TB) – 8.30am
Lakeside North Harbour (PO6 3EN) – 8.55am
South Winchester Park & Ride (access via M3, junction 11): 9.55am

Those are the departure times. I reckon they'll take a longer route which is why they're leaving earlier - i.e. through Bitterne rather than across the Itchen Bridge

I suspect so, as there are works on the Itchen bridge at the moment.

If Saints win well I might go back to my normal football watching pub on a wind up mission. They give me enough good natured grief as it is, so they couldn't object to a big cheery grin from me. Here's hoping, anyway..

Wonderful, no trains on the Brighton line.

I could get to Fratton and then get on the replacement bus service, but that doesn't appeal, so driving it is..

Doing their best to make sure the crowd is as sober as possible

Don't let them beat you Sue!

Annoyingly going to have to miss the game as away as like a twat booked holiday before fixtures. But cannot transfer ticket to mates in normal way and have to email ticket office details. Cos all Saints ST holders have Portsmouth mates that they are going to give their tickets to.

Don't ever get a replacement bus, they are always late by 45 mins, too many queuing up for 1 bus. Also if coach drivers are used for other events or  matches like club away games rail networks won't have a coach. Trains are utter crap let alone a replacement service.

Has anyone received their tickets yet or know when they'll be posted?

I’m still waiting for mine to come in the post.

Just called the ticket office to check in. Ticket office advised they are sending tickets as a late as possible, I assume to make it harder to sell them on. Tickets will start to be posted this week so should arrive early next week.
