As for being allegedly laughed off of TUI, I chose not to post so frequently as there were too many reactionary posters like him there. Having said that, there seem to be some more reasonable posters there these days.

At least I made a personal decision whereas he wasn’t given a choice, he was banned from TUI. A grown man with a family being banned from a football forum, now there is a laughing matter for you. 😂

As for you being laughed off TUI, i remember when you made a comeback and people laughed at you other comments included "lets hope is only a short return" so i can see why youve invented a new username. Most people thought you were a bellend on there and most people think you are on here.

As a resident of Yorkshire, you should be aware of the shortages and the hosepipe ban in place. Yorkshire Water are in the process of applying for numerous emergency drought permits because their reservoir stocks are severely depleted, and with no significant rain forecast this isn't going to magically resolve itself anytime soon.

Speaking as an engineer... what's are the localised population increases for a lot of the stretched water authorities vs the increases in storage and treatment capacity over the corresponding timeframe? - the last reservoir was built in 1992. Population then was circa 57.6M, compared to 69.6M today - thats a 21% increase. Simple reality is we need to build more reservoirs and treatment capacity, eliminate wastage/loss, and provide better connections between high and low rainfall areas - because we are not going to get more rainfall.

They’re actually good for the natural environment if done well and a good social/outdoor exercise opportunities too. Alfred Wainwright was scathing about Haweswater in the 1930s bur the Lake District needs water.

Same here just drove to Manchester airport took twice as long as it should due to rain 

if only there was someone who could post charts and graphs to show how it’s been compared to the past
