Know a few people at work who have been poleaxed recently.

Is the flu jab worth it? My GP surgery sent a few messages inviting me but can’t be arsed

I have a flu jab every year. Not had flu for years but don’t know if that is down to the jab or not. There are some nasty bugs around so would rather avoid them if I can.

However I had a mild cold last year and similar one at the moment so hope that doesnt turn into flu which I havent had for many years.

Last time I had the flu jab I got flu about 2 or 3 months later.  Had the COVID jab every year I could and I got that fucker 3 times.

Won't see stone hard facts like that in MSM, AND WE ALL KNOW WHY!

What they dont tell you is everyone has got wise to Covid so now they're repeating the rhetoric with flu. I saw the flu R number is now being reported, something they started using in covid to scare everyone, is now 1.3. They must think we are fucking stupid. Oh look covid has gone but now flu is hospitialising people. Covid is gone now it's the super flu, LMFAO.

I got a jab free flu through work. A month later, I got the sniffoos. Sure, not the flu, so the jab might have worked. But still disappointing.

Yep. Missed it once. Got proper flu, then pneumonia, several spells in hospital.  Horrible experience. Haven't missed a flu jab since.

I actually nearly died once from flu doctors told me if the temperatures had been 1 degree lower I’d be dead so I guess I have climate change to thank for still being alive. Swings and roundabouts

Ha! The cardiac consultant told me that most people have never had actual flu. Colds and sniffles only. Flu made covid look like nothing. So yeah, no sympathy.

We are all fighting our own battle, I hope no one used the term “man flu” against you whilst you were suffering. Such an outdated term, men get sick too you know!
