For those of us, amongst the 7,000 fans who went to Milan for the game against Inter, it may be of interest to note that there are plans to demolish San Siro stadium and build a new one on the parking lot next door, with building to start next year.
San Siro is quite an iconic stadium but I guess most of us would agree that the facilities there werent the best when we visited.

The stadium where the fans were lapping up the beer at 8(?) Euros a pop, not to be told that it was non-alcoholic!

I speak Italian and told the blokes walking around selling it not to take the piss, I seem to recall they accepted my offer of 5 Euros (I wasn't drinking). At that point, no-one had any idea it was alcohol-free though...

I can still remember Gary Lineker's tweet "Southampton are out-playing Inter Milan at the San Siro" and feeling proud of the journey we'd been on.

Brilliant few days in Milan - a lot happens in 10 years 😳

People should have known as back then UEFA rules prohibited alcohol sales at matches.

Didn’t seem to stop them selling real beer in Prague.

Prague was excellent. Sat in a bar for about 6 hours and had about 12 beers each. Went to pay and it came to about £15 each. Ridiculous.
