Would prefer him being fit to play....would be one less striker to be concerned about.

He's actually looked surprisingly good for Derby. I think we just massively misused him. He seems to play more the Azaz role for them, not stuck out on the wing

WTF was that all about? He so obviously doesn't have the attributes to be a winger. It's no wonder he looked so out of his depth for us.

The old proverb about judging a fish by its ability to climb a tree springs to mind.

I’ve read they’re a physical side and will be aggressive and shithousing all over the pitch, fortunately we can do a bit of that ourselves now so should be a feisty affair. “Get into ‘em”

Can't see it being an open game, expecting Deby to sit in a low block and try to frustate us all afternoon. They'll come for a draw and hope they can fluke one against the run of play.

I'd start Larin and Matsuki to give us a bit of physicality against their defenders. The fancy suff can come later.

Peretz; Bree THB Stevens Manning; Downes Jander Azaz; Matsuki Larin Scienza

Feels like we are due a wobble. But I also wouldn't be surprised if we win 5-0.

The confidence and belief pumping through the team since that Leicester comeback is incredible.

My first ever Saints game was watching 5-0 against Derby. Would round off a great week if we could do oit again but these guys are coming for a draw and looking to catch us on the break.

Not convinced Matsuki gives physicality but I'd also like Larin to start. Fellows with the crosses and Larin to knock them in...with an early goal just like we did to Oxford.

Just noticed there are rail replacement buses from Woolston to Central, for anyone arriving from the east

Its not just from the East, its Southampton Central so all directions impacted. A mate of mine travels down from London for home games,  honestly its been shit all season hardly ever just a normal direct train to Southampton

Will certainly add to traffic with a sold out St Mary's , few cruise ships in as well that always adds to the gridlock

Matsuki will no doubt be very keen to recreate his idol Tadanari Lee goal against Derby.

Can’t be much difference walking from Woolston versus walking from central station?

Woolston is actual 5 minutes closer to St Mary's than Central

A lot worse for pubs though, and on the way home the train is usually full when it gets to Woolston

After our miserable season last time and start this time, I'd forgotten what it was like to look forward to Saturdays. Now I'm waiting for the hope to betray me.

4-1 to Saints
