Dusic Posted Friday at 18:43 Posted Friday at 18:43 If we had to name one on the bench for the City semi final who would you go for? Bennett is 57 now so would probs only manage a short cameo, Spedding a decade younger but was dreadful although like Sam Hoskins made the transition from Southampton failure to Northampton legend. Will go for Bennett's experience for an occassion with potential to overwhelm.
Gloucester Saint Posted Friday at 18:44 Posted Friday at 18:44 Any striker who hits such a wild shot at goal that it clears both tiers of the Milton Road End wins for me. 1
Badger Posted Friday at 19:01 Posted Friday at 19:01 What's Michael Gilkes up to ? unfinished business and all that

John D Posted Saturday at 05:58 Posted Saturday at 05:58 Bennett for me. He'd be useful serving the drinks during one of those unofficial breaks mid half. 1
Green Posted Saturday at 06:29 Posted Saturday at 06:29 Frankie Bennett has form against Chelsea, I’d “tip” him to make a bigger impact in the final, so bench for City and then Chelsea in the final to open the scoring.
saintstowin Posted Saturday at 07:29 Posted Saturday at 07:29 I'd go for Duncan's brother Charlie in case it goes to extra time and we need his stamina.
SNSUN Posted Saturday at 08:28 Posted Saturday at 08:28 Duncan Spedding was the first player I edited on CM 97/98 to have perfect 20 attributes and he was amazing. I forget why I chose him but maybe somehow I knew that nearly 30 years later this question would arise on a Saints forum and I could then say: I'll take the perfect attribute Duncan Spedding to rip City apart. 3
benjii Posted Saturday at 11:35 Posted Saturday at 11:35 Frankie Bennett. But I'll raise you a Cosimo Sarli.

I went to school with him. Sound guy, clearly head and shoulders above the rest of our year at all sports. Edited Saturday at 14:31 by Pancake 2

Dusic Posted 5 hours ago Author Posted 5 hours ago I have written to the club about this, haven't heard anything as yet. Does anyone know of a way to get in touch with either of them assuming we get the go ahead?
swannymere Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Surely Fabrice Fernandes would be a better option? He would make the opposition dizzy watching him running in circles.

St Louis Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Frankie Bennett certainly had the credentials.... and he knows how to deliver under pressure! SOUTHAMPTON have agreed an initial fee of £10,000 for the Halesowen Town striker Frankie Bennett, a 22-year-old Birmingham hotel waiter. https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/sport-in-short-football-1475189.html
