Frankie Bennett or Duncan Spedding?

If we had to name one on the bench for the City semi final who would you go for?

Bennett is 57 now so would probs only manage a short cameo, Spedding a decade younger but was dreadful although like Sam Hoskins made the transition from Southampton failure to Northampton legend.

Will go for Bennett's experience for an occassion with potential to overwhelm.

Bennett for me.  He'd be useful serving the drinks during one of those unofficial breaks mid half.

Frankie Bennett has form against Chelsea, I’d “tip” him to make a bigger impact in the final, so bench for City and then Chelsea in the final to open the scoring.

I'd go for Duncan's brother Charlie in case it goes to extra time and we need his stamina.

Duncan Spedding was the first player I edited on CM 97/98 to have perfect 20 attributes and he was amazing. I forget why I chose him but maybe somehow I knew that nearly 30 years later this question would arise on a Saints forum and I could then say: I'll take the perfect attribute Duncan Spedding to rip City apart.

I went to school with him. Sound guy, clearly head and shoulders above the rest of our year at all sports.

The club dont like to use him in our Wembley games (see May '03), not one for the big occasions. Chris Baird potentially?
