I read a beeb article that said they had come up with a sales brochure that only mentioned the good things. So, lots on the PL win and probably their hotel and training complex.

But nothing about their massive debt, already having mortgaged their future, their current league position or facing RussBall for a while.

Interesting that 80% of Premier League Southampton cost Sport Republic just £100m yet League 1 Leicester value themselves at £200m. I won't pretend to understand the intricacies of how clubs are valuated but either their asking price is extortionate or ours was dirt cheap.

Aren't they still £103m in debt? £303m for a League One club without debt is a huge commitment... I don't really see why anyone would try to complete a deal before it returns to being a Championship club and bringing the debt down some more

I think it might be that they valued the assets (ground, training ground, players etc) at £200m (training ground is valued at £121m for example).

Doesn't mean anyone is paying that kind of amount especially considering the debt, how their loans were organised and the potential costs/losses over the next few years.

If I wanted to invest in a club at that level I'd look at probably someone like Bradford. Great fan base and will save you about £190m. Sure they probably have some debt too but not to the level of Leicester.

Saints were sold twice and people have speculated about another sale , so if Leicester sell the price is relevant . Etc

Didnt Dragan have to take on £100m of debt plus the purchase price when he took over, so £200m in total?
