CHAPEL END CHARLIE Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 We've all made sacrifices for the club but surely this is going too far : http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article2287165.ece MARK WOTTE wants Southampton players to live like monks to avoid relegation from the Championship. Saints boss Wotte said: “I tell them to send their wives away and have a very good sleep. They have to really live like monks.” Even Glenn Hoddle didn't go that far

JustMike Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 haha quality. thing is though, arent most of our players too young to have sex, let alone wives :-)
Fan The Flames Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Nice bit of a non-story to take the presseure of and make the lads laugh, maybe there is something about Wotte afterall.

SoccerMom Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Shouldn't be a problem for Drew and Bradders, anyway. Depending on how the birth goes, many women swear they will never have s*x again.
INFLUENCED.COM Posted 3 March, 2009 Share Posted 3 March, 2009 Discipline is something we have all called for over recent years, looks like Wotte will instil this in our players and should continue to reflect in performance on the field, Mcgoldricks work rate has improved greatly, Skacel seems to care alot more and their are a few more examples of individual improvement since his appointment, long may it continue as noone wants to hear about our players being involved in late night nonsense.
