I don't know if he reads the forum, if he does, then WELL DONE.

Was very good today, seemed alot more up for it then last week, put himself about, had a few shots. and gave options for people. For a 20 year old to come out and play like he did is great considering the circimstances. MOTM for me today.

Without turning this thread sour, its about time. His form has been very poor of late so as someone who didnt go to the game today, its great to hear he's put in a decent performance today. Very talented player who perhaps let talk of a transfer to the Prem turn his head earlier this season. Lets hope he can kick on and inspire us to retain our Championship status come the end of the season.

Keep it up Adam.

Agreed. It's more then overdue. Considering his recent performances, maybe that's why he looked good?

I thought both Lallana and DMG had their best games for along time, both looked up for it still not sure about BWP.

HE annoys me because he is so slow getting back onside after an attack breaks down, to mant times today he was coming back, with hands up, when we were starting next attack

Lallana's best peformance in a long while.

As I said on another thread, Lallana showed today why there were/are Premiership clubs looking at him.

He was up for it, made himself available and played some good balls too.

Not afraid to tackle either which is a rarity in an attacking midfielder.

Full credit to him today, now keep it up!

back to his best today. Looked much fitter for some reason and he dived into every tackle possible. I have to say we played it a lot shorter than we have in recent weeks and that must have made all the difference as he actually saw the ball rather than just watching it going over his head. He also moved into a more central role as we playerd narrow in the second half. As I haev been saying for months this is where he needs to play not out wide.

Well to be fair to him he was doing ALL the running up front as Euell may as well have not been on the pitch. There was no effort from him at all and Bradley had his best game for us for a long time. He made intelligent runs into the channels. Incidently it was this that gave us more joy in the second half from McGoldrick. He was breaking out of midfield while the full backs played the ball down the like.

Huge credit should go to Lallana and McGoldrick today IMO.

I have to say Lallana was my man of the match today

made some great tackles, tracked back, won the ball and kept posession, great running at the Palace defence, and some wonderful interplay with James and McGoldrick

his best position by far is in the CM attacking role - or maybe on the right of a midfield 3

To be fair he attemps to get back onside but it is hard for the lad, that massive arse of his is always lurking in an offside position

Key thing today was that he was more direct - when he got the ball he looked to head towards goal, run at people and get into the penalty area. The same goes for McGoldrick. When we have done well under Wotte, it has by beinng more aggressive and getting the ball and players into the box more than under the previous 'manager'. Don't know why we did not take this approach against Charlton, we sat back far more and were slower in our build up and it cost us three points.

More of the same at Wednesday please.
