Yeah I'm looking forward to going to some of these grounds! Really looking forward to going to places like Yeovil and Hartlepool...and if Exeter get promoted, deffo gonna go there as it was right next to where I used to train when I was in the Marines.

Hopefully if the promotions & relegations work out the right way then we could have as many as 13 localish games. If Wycombe, Exeter & Gillingham all come up from League 2 with Brentford that would be good whilst lets hope Carlisle & Crewe go down at the expense of Brighton. Lastly, hopefully Leeds or S****horpe go up in the play offs keeping MK Dons & Millwall down.

Then we'd have all of the following away games which are pretty close

Charlton, MK Dons, Millwall, Southend, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient, Swindon, Yeovil, Brighton, Brentford, Wycombe, Exeter & Gillingham. You could also had to that Norwich, Colchester, Northampton & Walsall which aint all that far to go either.

I agree in a way i guess many of us would never have visited a lot of these grounds amazing that chances are there will be 4 ex Prem teams in League 1 so we are not alone I think with the 10 point deduction it will be harder than many people think will depend a great deal on what squad we have available but I am looking forward to it no point crying now I hate the summer cant wait for August the 8th COYR

I hope we have a good motivator in charge of the team, because otherwise its gonna be tough to overcome a ten point handicap. I'm optimistic of a takeover, I just hope whoever it is can change the negative cr@p that has strangled the life out of the club for years, you would seriously bet against 'The Old Southampton' to turn a points deduction around, so this may just be the tonic to stamp a new winning mentality into Southampton FC.

COYR!!!

The only thing I look for on an away day is a real ale pub and three points.

No chance with Orient, has the worst pub I've been into by the ground serving horrible beer, stick to some of the gems in the centre of London and then tube it up.....

If you have a CAMRA card you might be able to get in the Supporters Club which is in the GBG. Superb beer festivals there and current national club of the year.

There are plenty of pubs within a short walk of Leytonstone station, which is the next stop down the line, including a big wetherspoons on the high road less than a five minute walk from the station. It also has the added bonus/disadvantage of a McD's next door.

There is also a pub called 'The Railway Bell' which is just across the road from South Woodford station, which is on the same tube line but about a ten to fifteen minute tube ride away. This has the added bonus of being about a five minute car ride from the North Circular for those that are driving and the station also has plenty of car parking spaces.
