  1. Exactly this. Shows the mess theyre in tbh that they're having to wait to sack him.
  2. Think they had more tickets available for ST purchase last season, so even if 10% churn this season, they could still be 24/25k, Take into account £3k aways, leaves about 2/3k for walk ups.
  3. I think I’d rather play them later on once we have our squad sorted and settled theyd beat us now
  4. Leicester, Hull, Coventry, Bristol, Stoke, Norwich or Swansea? Good bet 30% chance of being correct.
  5. Thats a nice pint! Far better than Kingfisher!
  6. Sure it will be a potential upset on the opening Friday night... So maybe Leicester at Birmingham/Wrexham, or us vs either of those. Leicester look in a bit of a mess by all accounts. Pretty sure they don't put derby's in the first month or final month of the season generally so likely to be October and March. Be nice to start planning the away days though....too much stuff I have had to stick on hold til the fixtures are released...
  7. Difficult one to justify IMO. (and tbh not really worth the conversation until another 6 weeks has past) 2 seasons ago we had: Aribo, Smallbone, Downes, Charles, S Armstrong, Rothwell, Fraser, Alcaraz A Armstrong, Brooks, Sulemana, Edozie, Mara, Adams, Stewart It's arguably better than what we had last season apart from Fernandes. Has Dibling done more than Arma, Fraser, Brooks or Edozie would have done last season? Clearly we are after a physical and pacey no9, to lead the line which I think is absolutely necessary. Highly likely Aribo, Armstrong, Fraser, Sulemana, Dibling, Fernandes, Onuachu, all leave, leaving us with a starting place of: Smallbone, Downes, Charles Robinson, Edozie, Matsuki?, Stewart, Archer, Juan? Brereton-Diaz? For me we need atleast 4 signings in those areas, probably 5. I'm guessing some of Matsuki, Juan, Diaz also won't be here next season.
  8. What's the problem with Manning? He was signed for the championship? I think he's actually been pretty decent this season at times. Fraser? Wasn't he on a free? Got Prem experience, might not have worked out but you can see why we kept him on a cheap deal. Wood? £3m? Don't think he was signed for this season ultimately. I think him and Edwards were signed for a combined £6m for next season in mind. The fact we have been playing Sulemana and Onuachu this season, probably says everything you need to know about our recruitment. And doesn't really if we're any good in defence/midfield, because we have zero threat going forward and no focal point to how we play, so the ball just comes back again. Irrelevant of manager we've been utter shite regardless of which one. Outside of those that were here last season we signed: Ramsdale - been top drawer this season IMO. Fernandes - Cracking little player but can't do it on his own Edwards - signed for future Wood - signed for future Taylor - experienced LB, but not really sure why we signed him Lallana - experienced CM, but not really sure why we signed him Welington - half season, looks ok but nothing more than that Brereton Diaz - utter trash Archer - utter trash Sugawara - utter trash Cornet - utter trash Others that have gone to Goztepe - probably pointless signings
  9. Another men against boys, miles away from being good enough, no threat going forward until Stewart came on. Physically battered all over the pitch as per 90% of games this season. Only 1 more week and we can say goodbye officially to this season. Can't wait to see the back of some of these players, with Sulemana being right up there as one of the worst signings this club has ever made. Shocking. Great to see Stewart come on and look like he could be a really good option for us next season. Wouldn't be relying on him though.
  10. Unbeaten against them this season. Hopefully will be a bit more positive from the stands for this one. Cmon you Saints - unchanged? Rambo; KWP Stephens Bednarek THB Manning; Ugo Downes; Fernandes Sulemana; Shite Paul Weather meant to be nice (ish)...
  11. Who doesn't love a London away day, visiting some nice pubs and hopefully have some decent weather. The football will be terrible, and probably a waste of time. We'll probably sit in a low block again and get the pleasure of watching Onuachu bumbling about attempting to look like a footballer.
  12. If you think he was the main person recruiting players last summer then I’m surprised, he’s he’ll have been involved, but people above him were picking the signings. Wood and Edwards were clearly bought for next season and because they were good business deals, (buying players beneath market value). I’m certain Martin had no interest in having Onuachu and Sulemana in the squad this year. Said he didn’t want Diaz or Archer too,
  13. No, but more of an understanding that we were very much underprepared, and when you have no strikers and can’t score from anywhere else on the pitch, then I’m not sticking much blame on any manager. I have larger frustrations with the general state of football in this country, and our recruitment for this season, I saw a young manager trying to play his way and gave the fan base something to get behind last season, I have a lot of sympathy for him, I think we’d be in a better state if he was still the manager of this club, and I’m sure he’ll learn from his mistakes In time. He’s not blameless by any stretch, but I am definitely surprised with the amount of shit he’s got from a minority of our fanbase this season.
