He doesn’t really do ordinary goals, does he? And the pass to Austin was insane too. Personally I loved the reaction when he scored even if the manager didn’t. Passion - we could do with a bit more of that. Take a bow, son.

Cuco having an absolute 'mare for Everton tonight. And what the hell has happened to Morgan?

Boufal can be infuriating but hardly surprising that he always looks like he's trying a bit too hard when he rarely gets more than 20 minutes. When we bought him he was supposed to be our f*cking saviour. I'm bored of saying this now, but give him a run of games...

At least coming back twice shows a bit of character. But for a club that decided that 8th place and a cup final wasn't good enough last season, 9 points from those 8 games is pretty woeful.

I honestly wouldn't mind too much if the top four at the end of this season effed off to a new European super league. Along with four from Spain, four from Germany, four from Italy and four from elsewhere. Whichever of the four English teams finished lowest in the new league would swap places after one season with the new champions of England. Would actually give us a realistic shout of winning the league, and getting a season or two at the European top table. Might also break Sky's business model which would be a laugh.

And now the football league jobsworths have got involved... https://www.efl.com/news/2017/september/efl-statement-afc-wimbledon/

I went to the match with an AFCW supporting mate last night. Tasty atmosphere. I pointed out Seager at the start so a bit awks when we thought he'd scored in the 6th minute. Glad it was an own goal. He looked OK, nothing more. AFC didn't deserve to lose.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p05dpbm5/w1a-series-3-episode-1 That's not a diamond, that's a pointy line. And for me, Gary, you're not going to win games at this level with a pointy line. W1A deconstructs the Saints defence - about 24 minutes in.

All that money that Koeman spent, and yet still this... Great dugouts though.
-
Hopefully the last we'll ever hear about him. Never rule out another owner gullible and clueless enough to fall for his incompetent patter though.

Bloody hell, if we'd beaten Watford we'd be top. Mind you, if I'd guessed the lottery numbers i'd be rich....

This. Suggests our summer business may have been rather good. Shane's been worth his place too.

What a load of turd. Ah well, only three points off the champions league. -
Right you are, my bad. Hadn't realized the rules on loans had changed. Gabbi and Charlie it is.

If Costa goes to Athletico tomorrow, is a cheeky loan bid for Vietto out of the question? Can but dream... 7.5/10

Best window? Probably West Brom. Worst? Got to be the bar codes. Can't imagine Rafa's impressed. -
Well if Coutinho doesn't leave and Ox arrives the dippers will be pretty awesome going forward but keystone cops at the back. I love forward to our 4-5 victory at Anfield.

The Baggies have had a pretty good window. If they manage to keep Evans even better... -
Signing a six year contract at Saints means you've agreed to stay for a minimum of two years rather a minimum of one. Not sure which part of that Virgil van Thyck didn't understand. Personally I'd have no problem with release fees in future star player contracts (Neymar had one FFS) - as long as the fee was ambitiously high and it wasn't kept secret from the fans.

Calm down, calm down, i was down the pub with Stevie G, 1000% like, honest, calm down, hub caps etc

Relax. Matt's on a wind-up. He has been all summer. #respect

Could be a lot worse. We could have started like Palace or Wham. But five points the very least I would have expected from those three games. And - putting it politely - MoPe hasn't exactly stamped his style on our play yet.

Koeman came down to value for money. Is he a good manager? Yes. Is he one of the best in the world that merits a salary to match? I'd say no. And he also wasn't interested in bringing younger players through. He wanted short term results to boost his own stock. Not necessarily a good thing for us. If we may not have got the right men since, it means the Koeman fall out looks the wrong decision in context, but as a standalone decision I'm not sure it was wrong. Koeman? Pah. IMO Pochettino was the best manager we've had in the past decade - by a country mile. Now if we could have kept him...
