Don't really know what has happened behind the scenes, but I would guess this gives Hughes more time. It seems that Reed has shouldered the blame for now (and rightfully so). Plus there were the on/off again rumors of friction between Hughes and Reed, so that could be part of this too.

It seems like something happened over the past week or two, and now Gabbi openly says he wants to go. Given the lack of contribution he has made, and the obvious lack of confidence Hughes has in him, its the right thing to do.

Who cares about Gabbi. He has sucked like the rest of them. What has he done, certainly not score. Now he wants to leave on top of it.

Yes, even I have a limit to my generosity. Although to be honest, two goals in the next 2 matches and I'd likely change my tune.

I don't believe in any of the strikers, including Ings. What have any of them done. Keep to build around -McCarthy, Bertrand, Cedric, Stephens, Hoedt, Yoshi, Lemina, Hojberg, Redmond, Big V, Romeu, Don't care (can easily swap out for the same or better) - Long, Gabbi, Austin, Ings, Armstrong, MoEly, Bednarek, JWP, Targett, Gunn, Gallagher, Davis, Forster

I don't either. He has done zero this season and last. Ings, Gabbi, Austin, and Long all haven't played well. Makes me wonder if there isn't a bigger problem, and if some of the fault lies with the midfield.

I think we looked pretty good considering. I'd take of Mo, since he is terrible today, and maybe bring on Armstrong.

When a team doesn't create many opportunities, then every chance gets magnified. The real issue is that we aren't creating enough chances, and its a midfield issue.

The team looks fine, and I think Hughes is just putting together a team that attacks the Cherries well situationally. Plus we don't know who came back from International break when, and if they were a little banged up. Time to get this season into gear. Lets get a win here!

I actually like Hughes. IMO he's much better than MP, we just don't have that much talent. He'll figure something out and we'll slide by around #15

4-4-2 is different in today's football. I don't think its what people think of. It really can look like other formations at any time, such as a 5-4-1 for example, and visa versa. I wouldn't get too hung up on the starting formation
