If you get what I mean. This whole thing happened in a matter of seconds, put yourself in the police's shoes - You see someone raising what you believe to be a gun towards you. What do you do? The officer has stated why he shot. Which is lawful. Armed or not. The jury are 10 members of the public. They aren't police. They aren't lawyers. Normal human beings who have said the shooting was lawful. Doesn't make it right, but lawful all the same.

P.S - Cannot believe O'Brien wasn't sent off for an awful challenge on Lallana - Two footed from behind, Linesman bottled it.

Pretty poor performance, although it's a clean sheet and 1 point gained. Thought Clyne played well, good to see him back. Fonte and Lovern played well, dealt with whatever his name is well. Quite an easy day for them. Lallana and J-Rod were poor, too many loose touches, Lambert wasn't great but his touch, even in the pouring rain is sublime. Osvaldo was unlucky, should have scored and linked up well with others. Midfield was non existent first half, much better second. Don't think Ramirez would have done much if he came on, the game was perfect for Jack Cork. Who wasn't even in the squad. Onwards and upwards.

First game this season, saw 2 last season and both were 1-1 draws. I'm going for 4-3.
