How many international teams have had Saints players?
The9 replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
According to Wiki, the Yugoslav communist authorities allowed players to leave aged 28, which is how old he was when he left. But he only had 1 Yugoslav cap even before that anyway. -
Oh I didn't say "don't post it", I said "make it clear what you're posting", "A signing" is not helpful when people are hoping to see first teamers. Had MLG not posted it himself he'd have been jumping all over how misleading it was.

God I am glad that Adkins left...how embarrassing!

I thought he did a good job at Saints in the time he had with the resources available, he's been overtaken by other Saints managers since though. -
1st one is Charlie Miller, so not a bad guess. Scottish, introduced football to Brazil, played for St Mary's YMA first. Public school, his face is spray painted on the railway footbridge at the Northam end of the ground. Ted Bates - there is a statue of him outside St Mary's, which is where Saints play. Terry Paine, played 800 games for Saints and Cortese actually seems to like him Mick Channon, famous for saying "Lineacre" instead of Lineker during the 1982 World Cup. Ex-Pompey. Son has played football for Saints Forever FC.

I went on a stag do to Amsterdam in 2005. Get everyone else in the party to wear welsh rugby shirts. The silly f'ckers did by choice on that one. I can't help but think that "suitcase full of porn" would be a fun thing for him to bring back into the country, even if no-one's going to check it. Plus they have loads and loads of cheap porn so it doesn't even have to be expensive. City is actually quite nice, the airport's a bit of a Schipol though.

Bloody hell, I went to Slide and Splash in 1986 !
-
Yeah, they'd just do what they used to and get a load of people they knew to turn up and watch instead.

2239 pages for me, stick to post numbers, then we can all agree on 89468. For me, the "bothering" was all about finding out (usually first) what was going to happen to them next in their plummet to L2 and struggle to find a buyer on a Saints messageboard. Now that's all done and dusted, I'm happy to ignore them again. Except when they play Newport, of course.

Probably just as well.

I was wondering if anyone would pick up on that. Nicely done.

That makes some sense, and is also why I thought Adkins should have waited for Stoke, because if he doesn't take them back up he might as well have not got us promoted either as far as his career goes. He should have stuck it out for a lower half Prem club. As far as the statement goes, that's Adkins, don't expect him to say any more than he has to in a press conference and do expect rampant positivity. I am absolutely astonished that people on here are rewriting history like he wasn't a superb manager for us getting back to the Prem. -
Just as well. But for future reference, no one gives a toss about players we sign to play in the under 18s, and you can save most of us the bother of looking by adding "...for the U-18s" to the title.
-
Probably because they were both experienced professional footballers who can pass on their experience? Maybe? I have no idea what you think Bridge will bring that will be so superb at the likely cost of employing him for as long as he's still a full-time professional footballer.

Well in that case, we ALREADY HAVE A SIGNING : http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?45190-Youth-Player-Signs-from-Lancashire

I'm not sure this counts as a signing.

Did a little bit years ago, like PRINCE2 Project Management it's very handy if you've got a large organisation which uses the principles to give you something to relate to, and it's much easier to do the practical before the theory. I've worked in ITIL organisations as a Support Team Manager, Infrastructure Manager and an IT Project Manager (both sides of the IT divide), but aside from Gate 2 and Gate 4 technical sign offs for Release Management compliance, as a PM it's just the techies that generally have to worry about it. Which particular aspects of ITIL, anyway ?

They needed to be told it wasn't an acceptable response to sort it out, more like.

I would be very surprised if the monochrome badge lasts longer than a season.

Is this the 3rd or 4th time we've had this thread so far this summer ?

Fair enough, maybe he hadn't thought of it at that point.

How many international teams have had Saints players?

I like to call it "pendantry". The question was how many countries have had Saints internationals. I'm pretty sure of the 18 I listed in the opening post, only Yugoslavia is wrong. -
How strange, Batman seems to know about Plymouth.

One of the 4 adidas templates in use this season - same as the Hearts away.

Absolutely they would, and it's also the only way I'll be buying any of the stuff they were selling in 2012/13.
