He isn't a solid PL midfielder "in my opinion". 6 goals in 6 years does not make any midfielder in the world good at all, which possibly is a fact.

His dead ball delivery is factually extremely poor, because the shots are virtually never on target. The goalie invariably doesn't need to save it. His free kick to goal ratio is possibly the worst in all 4 leagues. Dead ball specialist.....urban myth. So, not good at dead balls, can't score in open play, can't tackle, can't win headers, can't beat opponents with speed, can't dribble past opponents, can only pass the ball, no "trickery" of any description. I hope he plays for England as he is very good, apart from all the above. Get rid and buy a good midfielder who can score goals. Saints have had a midfielder for 6 years who can only pass the ball, well done Les in cultivating your "precious".

Ward-Prowse on the right largely because we don't have anyone to play in the RF position, says "Cartman". What about Hojberg, Clasie, Martina, Hesketh, Sims, Boufal? All better than Prowse, but Reed doesn't include them in the starting line up that he hands to Claude each match.

There only 2 people on this thread who think that JWP should be sold. He holds the squad back every time he plays. When Saints are defending he virtually NEVER touches the ball. He just jogs around following the play in a vague manner.

Finally some sense!. Can anyone tell me how many goals he has scored with his wonderful fantastic unbelievable free kick ability? He has scored 6 goals in 6 years. That's complete pants, factually. Not Prem standard and utterly over-hyped. He has been about to kick on, according to the ever hopefuls on Saints forums, for 6 years. Own up and admit he is just ordinary. He won't be replaced until Reed goes though.

Reed said Saints had the best midfield group in EPL July 2016. Factually and statistically untrue!!!!! He gave a bighead opinion, not fact. He also said that "prowsey" has improved recently. Statistically untrue.

Dougal broke down in his Del Boy 3 wheeler on the way home from a Liverpool match. I took him back to the Reliant and managed to "wedge"(with more mate's help) his car into the back of my Transit 6 wheeler. As it was looking a bit precarious(sticking out too far), Dougal "helped" it in so it was firmly wedged. We could then tie up the doors. When we got home, he was very grateful and seemed a perfectly nice chap outside of the Footy scenario. It did need a bit of persuasion when offloading.

Davis and Prowse = no goals. From the year dot. JWP played well say blind men. Davo is past it and Prowse never was it. Nobody wants anyone other that VVD. Cr8p overall squad can't score. Sell 6-8 in Jan and get 4 midfield in who know what the opposition goal looks like.

I think that Davis is presently cr*p and would prefer Clasie in his present form. If JWP starts I will bet on Stoke.
