  1. I don't even remember being at the game. I think I left after about 55 minutes and watched the rest in the pub, I think. I could possibly have been very annoying yesterday.
  2. R.I.P Rayment and other lads from PWRR who have lost their lives. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6UMdulsnz0A
  3. As a marketing genius, I have these suggestions for Bojer, no doubt he will take no notice of them, simply because they are from me. Registered User - Unlimited posts and able to start threads. 4. The policing in Swansea is never that heavy-handed apparantly, they normally welcome away fans drinking on Wind Street etc. Yes the your bus was stopped, as it was independently hired, however other minibuses with face-painted people and kids were escorted to a nice village pub to have a drink, so it was not 'blanket punishment' .
  5. They are figures from a few seasons ago, I would say the figures so far this season match that, and I know alot more are banned. As for DellDays saying 'whats the problem if you have nothing to hide' Here is the problem DD, our minibus being section 60'd, being stopped on the M4 and told we HAD to go to the stadium, and escorted there, to be locked in a compound outside the turnstiles 1 hour before kick-off with no facilities, have our minibus searched, our names taken and our beers taken. Not being allowed out after the game and being escorted back on to the motorway. Now that is a problem, would you not agree?
  6. They have no legal power to get your name and details, in all honesty, if you are getting stopped on a section 60, then the likelyhood is they already have your details, although the SW Police did seem to be stopping 'scarfers' as well that game. Like it or not, you have to put up with the police at football, it's one of them things. If you like a beer and dress casual, you are going to be followed around. If you go to many away games then they will also have a 'file' on you. A lad I know got nicked at SMS a couple of weeks ago, in his interview they pulled out photo's and videos from a number of games and tried to use it in court, none of it was harsh stuff, just the norm w*nker signs and drunkeness. Luckily the judge told PC P to f*ck off and that evidence was not admissable in court so he got away with fine rather than a ban. I have one mate banned for 3 years simply for being too drunk when walking up to the turnstile, and another for saying 'f*ck off' to OB who threw him to the floor aggresively after the goal at Derby this year. It would not suprise me if SFC have one of the highest numbers of people banned at the moment, even taking into account that the Maze Hill lot are back. Basically, contrary to what people would rather believe, Southampton now have a very large 'casual element' ( there is a difference between casuals and hooligans ) , as a result our away games are heavier policed, which means section 60's
  7. Im_no_Crouchie, both on this thread and the Lounge thread, you come across as knowing absolutely nothing about Sales. Firstly you don't realise that a good salesman will earn significantly more than the OTE, and don't seem to realise that the OTE stands for 'On Target Earnings' , which generally means that is the minimum you will earn, if you are not earning that, it means you are not hitting your targets, which means you will be sacked. Lower OTE's make for higher rewards for decent salesman, as there is less risk for the employer and you don't end up carrying the non-capable employees. Now you have once again show yourself to be either a fake, or sh!te salesman. Are you telling me that as a mortgage consultant, your basic REALISTIC OTE was more than 28k as a 22 year old? If you are talking Telephone as opposed to being an IFA then - Don't talk sh!te. Knowing everything about the product is not a sales skill, anyone can do that. Believing in your product is not a sales skill, if you have a good product then you don't need to be a good salesman to sell it. Being able to sell a tinpot product to a customer is a sales skill. Rapport building, identifying needs, objection handling and keeping a customer interested are sales skills, like it or not, the 'cheeky chappy' is much more interesting for a customer to speak to than a walking encyclopedia.
  8. I suggest you look what 'OTE' means ginge, then take into account the statement I made about being a 'consistant over-achiever' , add a bit of 'uncapped commision' , then you might be able to work out that obviously, that my salary would be significantly more than 28k. Fookin' hell ginge, I thought you were supposed to have brains. I never said my salary was astronomical, I said it was more than probably the majority of mongoloids who waste their time in University. Majority being 'more than 50% , now even on my OTE, would you say that is correct? It is Bajer who constantly tells people how super-rich they are. Silly ginge.
  9. I would also like to make it clear that I see no adverts, I thought this was a 'main benefit' of paying the £5? 3 posts is more than enough each day, most of the time I can't find 3 threads interesting enough to respond on. OK, so I can't post threads, but it is the £5 payer that suffers, as the quality of content on here has gone down as a result. When was the last decent debate on here? No doubt prior the the £5 fee. I am yet to see if I can comment on the stories on SaintsWeb.co.uk after my 3 post limit, I shall test this in a minute, seeing as this is my last post. All in all, I am glad I took my stance not to pay the fiver, as months have passed, I am still yet to see any benefit of paying it. Oh well, see you tommorow. :bye:
  10. Well, we are into November and I still have been true to my word, it is obvious in that time the quality of the threads on the forum has dropped. I am still willing to accept an offer of free membership from the admins, if they want the forum restored to its former glory. How many mugs do we have that have paid up a fiver now then?
  11. http://fishfingersandwichforum.inventforum.com/index.php Quite a significant reffering site on AwaySupporters and ChristmasBargainShop.co.uk according to my analytics, looks like some of you goons are obsessed with me still. Have to make your own little 'secret forum' to discuss things? What a bunch of gimps.
  12. I am currently working my notice at current job. Consistant over-achiever in a variety of sales roles including.. Field Sales Retention Up-Selling Direct Outbound Telephone Sales Inbound Sales Account Management B2C B2B I am super, looking for a field sales role, as I don't like sitting on Saintsweb anymore. People bore me. There is also now my old vacancy of New Media Sales Executive if anyone wants it. 18,500k basic, OTE 28k, uncapped commision.
  13. http://www.christmasbargainshop.co.uk is where you want to look. There might even be some discount codes on there soon, when the lazy arse owner can be arsed.
  14. On of my step-daughters guinea pigs died this weekend. I told her I buried the poor little thing in the woods, I hadn't, it's in the bin. :-) 10/10
  15. Saints last minute winner from 2-0 down Pompey lose in the last minute. Life doesn't get much better. Only sour point is that I missed out on the mentalness of a pitch invasion. Ah well, we can't have everything! By the way, we will still get relegated, but for tonight, I am a happy man!
  16. "Half of the Southampton fans ended up on the pitch" Quality. Nice little fine on the way for Saints.
  17. Nah, all other sales staff from print advertising have been made redundant and their jobs re-deployed to Norwich and Birmingham in recent months, only 3 of us left here because we work in new media sales seperate to print, so I guess they want us gone too. Not bothered about any pay-out, as long as I get a couple of weeks free holiday. Gonna be a bit of a mission trying to find another job in this current climate though. Haven't told the missus yet though and the mortgage goes up £200 a month this month. Woops, wish me luck. :-(
  18. I can, apparantly, although 12 months is the guideline, there are exceptions. Basically, they are trying to move the office to Birmingham, but won't pay out redundancy ( not that it would be worth anything to me ) My target was doubled last month, with no notice, which I duely still got on with and hit. They are now looking at not paying me the bonus I earnt. They have also placed me on performace review, which means if I don't hit a target set this month, I will be sacked. ( the target is going up again this month ) So I have hit target every month and done what is expected of me, but they are placing me on a performance review. This and lots of other smaller reasons amounts to constructive dismissal in my view, and on seeking advice, as it involved non-payment of bonus and setting unrealistic targets, can be made an exception. Just waiting for the big-boss man to give me the all-clear to go home for another bout of 'gardening leave' . :-)
  19. That sounds like me. I handed my resignation in today, without another job to go to. :-( On the plus, I think I can have this lot for constructive dismissal too. Another payday on the way. :-)
  20. Has anyone else heard the rumours that there might have been another reason why BWP was so keen to get hold of the phones/cameras of the staff? Possibly something to do with some photo's that were taken on it which showed him doing something he shouldn't have been?
  21. If you want football hotels then there is a great little site which is under construction at the moment but does have some content on... It does have a football hotel search though... http://www.awaysupporters.co.uk/hotel_search :-)
  22. Jeff Stelling Drinking Game Can't be arsed to post the rules, google it, or youtube it for some reality documentries. Quality game, and one which I will be doing on Saturday again.
  23. Or someone with a 9 year-old step-daughter? I went to watch the recording of Divas II last night, apart from waiting outside in the cold for 2 hours, it was a very enjoyable night. I have never seen so many fittehs wearing next to nothing in one place. Myleene Klass looked hot, although her tits seem to have dissapeared, which was dissapointing. Leona Lewis looked hot and sang Snow Patrols 'Run' song, which was quality. Anastacia would get it, as would the sugababes, although they wore silly white dresses which made them look like heffers. Gabriella Cilmi looked hot, a good prospect in a couple of years time. Some of the women in there were wearing the shortest dresses in the world, ever. All in all, not a bad night out. I wish I was me. x
  24. Friday - Got hammered up the local. Saturday - Went to Swansea, stopped on M4 by police, taken straight to ground, stood outside like a lemon waiting for turnstiles open, went inside, drunk watered down Carling, left just after half time, not allowed to leave stadium, not allowed back in stadium, sat outside smoking ciggies, escorted back on to M4, went home. Sunday - Went to watch High School Musical, how gay. Today - Half day then going to see Rhianna, Pink Anastacia, Leona Lewis, Dionne Warwick, Sugababes and some other fit birds sing. Gay, but fun. 1/10
  25. Might as well stop going now, will speed up the inevitable administration, which means we can start afresh next season in League 1 without the annoying -10 points.
