A guy named Mike Wilde scored for The New Saints in Welsh league today. Spooky

agreed it is really important to build on it on tuesday , a defeat and we are back to square one , we need to win home games because every away game is tough
-
Great feeling , lets enjoy itand build on it for Tuesday

Agreed , as per my original post, you really had to be there to know what it was like. Locked in , no where to hide

Agreed the current situation effects us all , whether we could say "i told you so " or not -
supporting Saints. Please no 1997 answers. Pure football moments. I could think of two that really hurt Adrian Heath in 84 but the worst has to be Fratton in the relegation season, going to the game with real hope ,the awful performance BUT worst of all had to be the Humiliation of staying in the ground during and after the game, and that bloody song which i will never forget.

UNLESS the "cartel" have fallen out , maybe RL wanted to bring Hoddle back again and the rest said no

And many Did. The ordinary working people carried on at Thorneycrofts etc. Both sets of my Grand parents were bombed out from St Marys area and were put in temporary accomodation in Sholing so the 2 men could continue to work in Woolston. May be that is why i and at least 14000 others still are attending home games

If you had purchased £1000 of Northern Rock shares one year ago it would now be worth £4.95, Investing the same in HBOS, earlier this week your £1000 would have been worth £16.50. And £1000 invested in XL Leisure would now be worth less than £5. HOWEVER, if you bought £1000 worth of Tennents Lager one year ago, drank it all, then took the empty cans to an aluminium re-cycling plant, you would get £214. So based on the above statistics the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and re-cycle.

I normally take very little notice of Dave Merrington because I feel he has a chip on his shoulder regarding the club BUT the one thing he was very good at was developing young players. Players who achieved more in the game than any who have come out of the modern "born again" academy.

put it with the other tenner i have saved up and put in a bid for the football club. £1010 should be enough

It make you wonder if the team of experienced players had been managed by a " Billy Davies" what we would have achieved. In 47 years of support , both home and away, bringing up 2 boys (20and 14) in the faith, spending thousands on season tickets, programmes, shirts, sweatshirts, drinks and food, i now am getting to the point i can take it or leave it. Norwich next tuesday night will be a real test , not on the pitch, but for me personally will i be bothered to get of my fat arse and go to sms

We have always been a little sh*t team but we always had HOPE of turning over thebig boys, over the last 5 years that HOPE has been gradually erroded by changes in football in general and at our club by the continual internal bickering. People tell me that as a PLC we get to know more information about the club because of stock exchange rules but because of our share structure none of us can do anything about it, i just wish we could roll the clock back to 1997 , askham says no to rupert and we are bought my a rich individual in 1998. At least the red herring of share ownership would be removed
