Shame the armchair fans are giving Jos some stick, imo he played well against the most difficult centre forward in the league, Carroll is not a great player but knows, with Nolan, how to give defenders a hard time. All Hammers fans of my age bracket must despair at the type of football they now play, at least when Saints flirted with Branfoots style the fans hounded him out. -
Congratulations although it was a long time ago(25 and 18) i remember not worrying so much when the 2ns one cried

Agreed think the ball will spend a lot of time in the air and a lot of niggle free kicks

agreed those are the facts -
interesting to know what the other players think because he obviously has talent but it must be frustrating when he gives the ball away with flicks etc especially when the current policy is to close down win it back and retain it a few goals would help, but atfer saying that i used to want to know what made Jay Rod a good player

How can it be lucky when it was clearly not a penalty. Also sign of a class side to improve as game goes on, how many times in the past have we dominate a game only to lose a goal after about 30 mins and then another with 15 to go. Great result, professional performance -
about our Home Support, should have been at Reading today. Or maybe they should not have because they would be suicidal if they were Reading fans. They are the worst bunch I have ever come across God help Nigel trying to motivate that lot

funny how the game at the top level has changed, you used to need a lump bricksh*t house , now it is about pace, reading the game etc. still think we need another quality CB but 3 used this year have learnt and improved
