bring him back, Guly's time as whipping boy would be over.
-
agreed, but when he scores the fourth a St Marys to send the ****ers down, the whole stadium will be doing it.
-
It takes a hour for you body to process 1 unit of alcohol. Ten pints the night before means no driving the day after.
-
agreed, but an eleventh hour bid in January might work if all the other players they are trying to shift don't happen.
-
Brum's Jack Butland should be snapped up before he starts getting games in the first team. Also Jordon Mutch is back from injury playing for Brum reserves last night. He is a quality player. With Zigic's wages draining them the blues are going to get desperate for funds.
-
he turned down a move to Wolves last year preferring to stick with Palace to learn the game. Not a chance of him joining us unless we get promoted.
-
you might be right, he was on the bench last night, but once the window opens they can bring in new players of their own, plus some of those injured players may return too.

it's about choice. If you want safe as houses, won't come into contact with the opposing fans, then the bingo bus is there and always has been. If you want to travel by train, where you might get a few insults thrown at you by the locals then you should be allowed to. I'm interested to know of the bubble was cheaper to police. Cops on bridges, helicopter, spotter plane, horses and the same number of police on duty - 250. Add in all the extra organisation time and Burrows public appearances and it was probably more expensive. It certainly was for the fans.

Gamble. We have been the best team in the league so far and now Lallana looks fit again (fingers crossed) I think we start winning again and this midseason blip will be just that, a blip. Not going up now will feel like a failure even though it wouldn't be.

I've never had a problem with him and never understood all the vitriol towards him. He had an argument with the assistant manager, no one knows what it was about, but because a few fans didn't fancy him as a player the whole world seemed to decide that he was a **** with 99.9% of fans never having met him in their lives. I'm not sure he'd get in the side though, with or without Chaplow, oh and he isn't pacey.
-
he's not worth £6M with 5 years left on his contract never mind 5 months.
-
if Lallana has finally got over his injury then we'll have no problems in the coming weeks. He has been well below par, but looked a lot better on Sunday.

Don't rate St Ledger at all. Preston's defence was good when Youl Mawene was there, but when he left they shipped goals right left and centre. I don't see an international defender at all. Fontaine looked very good and I thought Pearce did a good job when we had him and he has improved since then. Neither are going to be available at least until the summer. If we are talking about getting a centre back that might take us up and do a job in the division above then (other than Davies) Craig Dawson might be an option. He still isn't getting games at WBA, so might be available on loan with a view to buy. The success of Cork (a fellow England U21 international) might twist his arm, although I think Everton were rumoured to be interested too.

Barnard was on the bench for both games, but strangely Adkins chose not to use him until the game was gone. Barnard is now injured, but at the time we had cover. Regarding the inability to score against both, well you might have noticed that they had both turned their form around prior to our visit so we were playing a bottom 5 side both in the best form of the season. The fact is the strikers were not the whole problem. We not only lost Chaplow's energy but also Lallana was half fit, so this affected the amount of ball we had and the service to the front players. One final thing, perhaps there wasn't a player available for a short term loan of the quality required at the right price.

doubt it, you put right footers on a left hand posts. That's why Harding was on the right hand post. Fox would have been where Harding was.
-
that's how I feel. We didn't embarrass them as some have suggest, we just wasted the opportunity to get our first 3 points there for 35 years and some much needed bragging rights after the 1-4 defeats.

not totally true, the bubble tactic is going to be challenged in court and that might spell the end of it. Moaning about it to the FSF is a good place to start as they need some weight of opinion behind their challenge.

"I know I am biased but you don’t see the vitriol in any other derby in this country that you do in this one." Take those South Coast tinted specs off my son, if you'd been to a West Ham Millwall, Brum Villa, or ManU Liverpool etc. game then you'd know that those levels of hatred are not exclusive to us.

Belgrade is worth considering...

wonderful site, thank you for pointing it out to me. I think I'm going to get some stickers made of those tickets

Boyd is a lazy goal hanger. He'll get you a few goals but only if you put them on a plate for him. If you think that kind of striker is what we need then he will do a good job. Personally I can't stand strikers that do **** all and rely on the rest to cover their lack of work rate.
-
********. We are top because we have been the best side up to now and there must be a fair amount of judgement used to enable us to be the best.
-
Martin has done OK when called upon and with a bit of luck we will only need to do that a few times between now and the end of the season so maybe we could get by with just the three? If one got injured then we'd have Cork as cover. Far from ideal, but at least it means we aren't paying 6 CB wages.

really? I gave up half way as the saves were all so basic that any clown could make them.
