  1. might be to do with people moved from the Itchen being allowed to get a seat in the centre at the wing price last season. Maybe.
  2. CENTRE tickets at Fulham are 699 or 799 depending which side you are on. http://www.fulhamfc.com/Tickets/SeasonTickets0910.aspx Boros are 590 or 540 depending which side. http://www.mfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/SeasonCards/0,,1,00.html The fact is we are charging 12.50 a game if you get a ST. That is amazing. Absolutely spot on pricing to encourage ST sales. 10 free games if you buy a ST. If you intened to go to 14 games or more then a ST is for you.
  3. behave, he put a lot of noses out of joint. You are right the loudest noise came from those that didn't want him but make no mistake it was closer to 50:50 split as was replicated in the boardroom. Its water under the bridge. Let it go and enjoy this latest part of the rollercoaster ride. In the end you have to experience the lows to really enjoy the highs and WHEN we do make it back to the big time we won't treat it like our right and enjoy every last minute.
  4. the new man will be in place already, they just can't reveal him for PR reasons (and quite right to).
  5. more than happy for Lowe to buy a box for the £20k or whatever it is. Wonder if he will come to any games. More than happy for anyone to come to SMS if they pay the going rate.
  6. Maybe so but I thought the Abu Dhabi United Group, of which Al-Fahim is a board member owns Man City?
  7. The continued rivarly is all important but the next time we play them I would want us to be on equal footing if not better. I've a sneaky feeling we'll get them in the cup this year at their place and we'll get a chance to get that ama****ingdilo song out of my head once and for all.
  8. -----------------------Davis------------------------- James-------Thomas-----------Saeijs-------------Mills A other better than thomson-----Gillett----------A other box to box man-------A other pacey top notch --------------A pacey other-----------Patterson------------------
  9. As much as I like Murty my concern is the lack of pace at teh back. Perry has gone in my opinion. He costs us goals with his lack of height and pace. Murty suffers from the same lack of height and pace so I worry about us being able to handle set peices. Mind you if Murty wins headers like Dodd and Telfer did then I'll be happy with that. Seijs is a must as is development from Lancashire. On the left Mills signing is a must but he'll need cover if Molyneux leaves - is he really leaving? The entire midfield needs looking at. I don't rate Holmes or Thomson out wide. Both are lightweight and neither is going to actually scare defenders. They will hold an end up perhaps but we need the best wide men in the division. Players that are going to be lively and threatening ensuring opposing fullbacks never cross the half way line. These two are not that. In the middle the Gillett/Schneiderlin partnership offers absolutely nothing going forward. In reserve we have Pulis and Wotton so that sounds like four `holding' midfielders to me. We need a box to box man, if not two and some goals. Lallana could offer an option in the hole but I don't want to see that crap diamond formation where Gillet ends up having to handle all four opposing midfielders. Up front we need some pace badly. Stern and Rasiak offer the fox in the box statuesque style striker but we want someone that is going to scare the living **** out of defenders and that means a combination of pace and power.
  10. I agree. He is a long way from being ready for the Premiership and a long (and by that I mean playing lots of games) season with us in League 1 would not do him any harm at all. Commons' prospects and status were not harmed at all by his stint in League 1 and the same would apply to Lallana. It seems like a backwards step but in actual fact his development will prosper as Mills, Monk and many other young players have done when stepping down a DIV.
  11. read his post, its shows a lack of knowledge from start to finish IMO.
  12. so what. We got relegated. Was Davis poor last season?
  13. If he is still on the baord does that not mean that one company would have vested interests in both Man City AND Portsmouth. Is that allowed?
  14. skate mate tells me that Peter Tells Stories is in Paris trying to convince Roberto Mancini to become their next manager so therefore the deal must still be on. I'm convinced. Honest.
  15. I honestly thought you were going to say `and he was one of them.' You should have.
  16. amen. I didn't know about the heart trouble, can you expand?
  17. Personally I'd like to see Perry removed from the first 11. He is incredibly slow and pretty poor in the air. His positonal play is first class, as is his effort, but if we want to move forward I think the time has come to improve in this area.
  18. not all players reach their peak at 18 or 19 you know, and central defenders are renown for being ****e in their early years. Rio Ferdinand made error after error in his early years at West Ham. I'm not saying Lancashire will male it, but he is very composed and is quick enough. he has a lot to learn but lets not hound him out just yet shall we.
  19. Lita, what a signing that would be be. Far far too good for League 1 IMO. Always thought Webber was dcent as well. We need pace up front.
  20. who has been generally pretty average of Brum for the last three seasons.
  21. agreed but many many players come good slightly later in their careers. poor shooting yes, but passing and heading he's more than capable. I'm clearly wasting my time, I rate him highly as do others on here but as with all players their will always be differing opinions. I hope he stays but if he wants out then there is little more to say. I only give a **** about the careers of Saints players, once they leave they are dead to me.
  22. now we are talking.
  23. he was usually 9 or 10 out of 10. Sign him up.
  24. have a bit of patience and you might see a great player devlop before your eyes. Some of you lot just will never learn. Young players need time and plenty of leeway. If he wants to leave then so be it, but until he has gone it might be an idea to just cut him and all the other developing youngsters a little more slack. If you can't spot his potential then quite frankly I doubt you never will be able to spot potential.
  25. What a goal. Massive smile on my face. Boy do I hate Liverpool.
