  1. Leicester struggling again, then.
  2. They'll be scraping bits of Plymouth up off the floor when we've finished with them.
  3. I haven't deleted any old posts sweetheart, they're all there for you x x x The most pathetic thing on this thread is your own admission that you go along with whatever manager the club deem to be right because the very act of the club doing it makes it right. So you drooled over Nathan Jones as the long term multi season manager because the club deemed it so, up until the point the club sacked him, which you also decided was right because the club deemed it so. Great idea, boss, yes I agree boss, whatever you say boss. Older contributors to this forum will understand why I will describe you as the Phil Neal of SaintsWeb.
  4. The most likely explanation is your annual subscription has run out.
  5. In summary you searched and searched and searched couldn't find me saying he should be sacked. He was and is employed to get us promoted, this season. Four dreadful defeats in September did not suggest that was likely, and even now automatic promotion is a reasonable distance away.
  6. Except you've just told us you support whatever the club deem is right, so you would have supported sacking Martin if the club deemed it to be the right thing to do. Just like you defended Jones because the club told you to, and now defend his sacking because, er, the club told you to. Go you, such a free thinker. Pretty certain I never called for Martin to be sacked, but his job was (and is) instant promotion back to the Premier League. That's what is expected of him.
  7. If your worldview is always "the club know best" then I don't think you are in a particularly strong position to start mocking anyone else's opinion. If the club had knee jerk sacked Russell Martin on September 30th you'd have been on here saying that was the correct thing to do because the club deem it to be so😂😂😂 Come back to me when you've developed a mind of your own....
  8. Exactly. He has changed things and developed since that disasterous September. The idea that he just stuck to the exact same rigid system he started with is nonsense. There was a nice amount of pinging it long on the diagonal on Boxing Day.
  9. Post up what you like sweetheart. Just remember as you look at the league table right now, that the man in charge is not the man you wanted in charge. Sports Republic will stick with Nathan Jones even if we are relegated. They will. They will. They will. They will.
  10. They've dropped 13 points in total all season, when has all this "struggling" happened?
  11. Too right. I remember some idiots on here saying that Nathan Jones will not be sacked by Sports Republic even if we got relegated because Nathan Jones was Sports Republic's choice and they will stick with him. Nathan Jones was here for the long term regardless of moaning forum supporters. If it was down to those geniuses Russell Martin would not be our manager at all. It would still be the Welsh Wizard. Some people, eh?
  12. Just you wait until Dave Brailsford gets in that United dressing room. #marginalgains #eyegym
  13. We're on two points a game, halfway through the season having played every team (at least) once. That's an exceptional job he's done.
  14. He did indeed. Even while enjoying the goal I did think, "bit weird".
  15. That's how you sort your goal difference out. Your move, Ipswich.
  16. it's been reported in "football insider" which just make shit up for clicks, and various other sites that just feed off that shit and rewrite it. Nothing from anyone remotely reliable. Depending on where you look he's "set" for Leicester, Leeds or Fulham or back to Sunderland, or Everton or Palace etc.
  17. Why is Mason Mount even being talked about? Some people on here are fucking nuts.
  18. Merry Saints-Get-To-Third-Place Day to those that celebrate .
  19. If we're on 51 points on NYE then we'll be third for sure. We've got 2 "easy" home games, Leeds have two tough away ties (at annoying TV times for them as well). Difficult to see them winning both. If they do then Christ this is the hardest Championship season of all time to escape from.
  20. A few years back when the BBC had the FA Cup they tried a couple of years with Sunday 6pm kick offs, it is quite a good slot from a TV perspective. Really it is there to maximise the number of games back to back on Sky, which as everyone knows is the true meaning of that period between Christmas and New Year.
  21. Ipswich have "dropped off" but still running at 24 points from 12, 2 points a game, automatic form.
  22. A win on Boxing Day and I think we actually hit 2 points a game for the season for the first time since the early days of August. Leeds have a tough lunchtime away trip so a win for us and we could very well be third before the top-2 clash in the evening. Or Russell's old club turn up and spoil everything.
  23. Brilliant result, well done Saints. And another clean sheet. Exactly what was needed and we are nicely in touch with Leeds and both putting pressure on Ipswich. Great stuff.
  24. Unchanged team, it feels like things are clicking for us. This is the moment Joe Aribo. This is the moment. Let's put some real pressure on Ipswich, make sure Leeds know we're on their tails. COYR
  25. 100% Them cunts will know all about scar tissue once we've finished with them
