Hopefully its a new chief executive to really lead the club and take us to the next level. We just need someone with a proven track record and history of success. As long as it is someone with a background in something like venture capital, sports management, football administration, ice hockey coaching, big business leadership at multinational corporations. That kind of thing.
-
That's my guess, I can't actually think of anything else that it could be. Assuming we might have a big name new chief exec lined up - is Peter Kenyon still going?
-
Just looked at that Keenan Finch twitter feed. Jesus wept.

I find it hard to believe that Tanswell would trail a story about money laundering and a potential Saints point deduction with a jolly "monster exclusive tomorrow" hype post. Thats not quite the right vibe for a story like that. It's going to be big/significant news, I don't think it will be a scandal-type story.

Just a little someone called Christiano Ronaldo.

OK I don't have anything clever to say but this Canada game is mad. Canada are simultaneously not particularly good and absolutely all over Belgium. The opening rounds are always the best bit.

Don't know why the Germans are getting all carried away with rainbows and gestures like them lot are the moral compass. The Germans have been responsible for some absolute atrocities themselves. Like compound nouns, lederhosen and David Hasselhoff's pop career.

Germany v Argentina final then.
-
John Oliver very good tonight on the whole corrupt mess that is this World Cup.
-
Well, we should beat those two, so really now its just about planning who we need to rest to keep fresh for the semis and the final.
-
Uncle Ali Dia will be absolutely buzzing with that goal though #proud

Wales looking like the lower Championship level side that they undoubtedly are. Great goal USA.

If there's one think I like about Batman is that he doesn't own or wear any clothing or shoes made by any major sports brand or clothing chain, and hasn't done for years. You have to admire his principles, you really do 👏 👏 👏 👏

I can post what I like to who I like when I like, Manji.
-
Great to have a completely independent analysis of Manji as a contributor from somebody completely different who is definitely not Manji in any shape or form.
-
Your regular reminder that David Cameron stopped being Prime Minister in 2016, just the 6 and a half years ago now. And that party got purged of non believers in 2019. Duckie is like a washed up old Communist whining on that everything would be brilliant, honest it would, but its never been done properly. No one has ever tried it. Not really tried it. Next time there's an 80 seat majority. Next time.

Oh he has? Can you link to the quote because I've not seen it. Cheers, thanks, love you bye

You're making up a scenario that hasn't happened and never will happen and then getting annoyed about it. Honestly there is some fucking dreadful "everyone is a hypocrite" whataboutery horseshit on this forum but what you've come up with here is pretty woeful by even Saintsweb standards.
-
The main thing that was "pretty clear" is that Manji has a clutch of different logins that he uses to "explain" or back up what he says. Fantastic to read your opinion though x x x

I don't mean you, I mean the person I think you are basing your "supposedly" on, who also claimed that the Nathan Jones rumours was "all coming out of Luton".
-
Also tried to tell people that the club management were told by SR that "money was no object" in the last transfer window. Money was no object. Thats definitely why we splashed a breathtaking £6m on Aribo and a handful of £10m children. Money no object.

Yes, that is the bit that I am saying is not as simple as you are making it out to be. In your previous post you have already complained about virtue signalling and hypocrisy. So how does English football respond by publicly objecting to Qatar (the dictionary definition of virtue signalling) while at the same time their football clubs are owned lock stock and barrel by Gulf states (the dictionary definition of hypocrisy). Ditto France, ditto others. So who is making the stand?
-
I think that entire scenario is not quite as simple as you're making it out to be.
