If this was the world cup, he'd have scored that.

Fair play young Jimmy Morgan. Yesterday morning he unwrapped a new bike and a Buckaroo from Santa and today he's on the bench for a Premier League team.

What a line up that is! *

That reads to me like you weeping, not me sweetheart. Cheer up, its Christmas x x x x My point is the people who value "rest" and obsess about fixture pile up will do it regardless of how good we are. We probably will go down because we're not very good. If you honestly believe that if we s p r e a d t h e g a m e s o u t so that our delicate flowers only ever played once every eight days then we'd magically turn into a wonder team the you're more thick than I already thought you were. Maybe a tight run of games will help build the team and the ideas the new manager wants in place. Maybe that. My Football team keeps playing football matches like every three days and it's not fair why don't they stop wah wah wah wah wah Chin up x

I will never understand the generation of fans who seem absolutely desperate for us to play as few matches as is humanly possible. Two weeks in a row of midweek plus weekend games and it's meltdown time. "Worrying". Jesus wept.

Pretty sure he asked to be removed the nomination list a couple of years back.

He got a showing on BBC Sports Personality In Memoriam section. Using the younest, blondest hairiest picture they could find.

Absolutely pumped for the Nathan Jones revolution π π π ππππππππππβ€β€β€

Where's the best place to park for Wembley stadium?

That's our problem. We're too nice to do that. #soninlawmaterial

Indeed. He's picked a team to do the job which should be a step up from a friendly but a competitive test ahead of an important league match on Boxing Day. That team should beat Lincoln and then let's hope we go on from there.

Lol all you like you weirdo. I didn't say it was our best possible line up. Just saying pleased it isnβt a bunch of kids and back ups, which of course it didn't need to be.
-
Well, it's a first choice selection, at least.

People are such delicate snowflakes these days, getting upset about everything, says man still weeping his little heart out about something someone he doesn't like said nearly five years ago.

The early Specials stuff was brilliant but then so were Fun Boy Three, and I am also a fan of his 1990s solo stuff, "Home" is a lovely Album. Plus his collaborations with Damon/Gorrillaz. Plus "Our lips are sealed". Oh, just great. Proper Great British pop star. Will be missed.

For someone making comments about how "knowledgeable" someone else is, you seem to be basing your opinion of Jones knowledge, ability and motivation on a two minute video. I would venture "your lads Sunday League coach" will be taking a League One standard club into the Championship play offs any year now, right? Let us know when he does, he must be well good. Jones might work out or he might not but I don't get why quite so many on here need to be complete twats about it.

Boufal was in signed in the same window for significantly more money than Redmond but could never get into the team consistently under four managers. How that is all actually Ralph Hasenhuttlβs fault I'm not sure but you definitely know best.
-
Two years have indeed passed and Sofiane Boufal is not at a "Top European Club" at all. Boy, do I feel the fool now.

Surely the very best candidate would be Gary Lineker as je has accomplished things at the highest level in two separate fields so by your logic would be an astonishingly good appointment.

Gospel of John, Chapter 11, verse 35.

Prior to this serial loser taking over we had the glorious winning period of bombing out of the Euros to Iceland second round, bombing out of the WC in the group stage, bombing out of the Euros second round, bombing out of World Cup in the second round again and not qualifying at all in the Euros. So much serial winning. I guess we can look back at Tony Adams era at England where we won absolutely fuck all. He probably spent most of that period waking up in his own piss stained trousers which is what serial winners definitely do. Of course he was also himself a brilliant winning manager at Pompey and whatever third world country he managed for about five minutes. He probably won too much for them to cope with.

Except we have been through enough windows where we sell our best players right at the get-go. We very rarely make others wait like we end up waiting.
-
Pretty obvious and realistic candidate to be honest. Apart from the divs on here who still openly weep about that thing he said about us that one time, I can't see what the problem would be. If nothing else he is quite good in Cup competition.

Pretty sure we have been failing to replicate "that time we gave that big club a real test for half an hour" in run of the mill games for several years now.
