I think the fact that the next World Cup is 48 nations is how FIFA is trying to shoehorn more teams in.
-
I think if we get only 10 from that lot we're gone. If I'm honest I think we're gone. This is the season.
-
I think it is fair to say that Ian Rush is the worst football pundit in the history of broadcasting.
-
If Southgate wasn't so bloody negative we'd be eight nil up by now.
-
Hahahahahhahaha Celebrate that in your dressing room you fucking taff cunts
-
JWP would have scored that better.

We are never ever ever ever going to score.

It's the format and the location. 16 groups of 3. So two games and out and plenty of "if we draw we both go through" shenanigans ahoy. Dogs dinner.

Just saw it on Twitter. Whoa. But who here, honestly, hasn't wanted to lamp Alex McCarthy with a corner flag?
-
Everywhere in England outside of the Peak District and Scafell Pike will be underwater by then.
-
Maybe a nil nil against the yanks is not so bad.

I think you can't have too much Laura Woods and Seema Jaswal on the TV. Difficult to decide which is my favourite but I'd probably come down on the side of Jaswal.

I must have missed the memo about Matty Cash being Polish now.

Those world famous throw-caution-to-the-wind Italians and Germans. And the Brazil that won in 1994 were not Pele and co, they slogged and bored their way to that trophy.

We are never ever ever ever going to score.

Let's let them score first.

This should be an absolute doddle. I mean, the USA? They probably think it's a baseball test match or something.

It was sound advice - what's the point of the upheaval and moving to a new team and new league just to play for a shitty lower end club like us or Leeds. He will go somewhere good in the summer.

I've read the full article. What is the context the rest of us are missing? We're in a relegation scrap and have gone backwards despite the biggest spend in years. Any interview like that was always going to be a parade of self justifying management speak, so they can't really win. You want to lap it up like a good little soldier that's up to you. Don't make out you're some master of "context" though. The leadership team made the decisions over the summer and here we are at the world cup in the bottom 2 with a sacked manager they chose to back in August. All that article does is say that SD have made the calls here, so they own whatever happens from here on in.

That's the strange thing about this planet we live on. Its so weird how absolutely everyone on it just loves Russia and approves of them whatever they do.
-
It's an interview with Kraft and Ankerson. Up now. I can hardly breathe I'm so excited
-
It's going to be that isn't it. He'll say a load of promises tomorrow that come 1st February we can all call him a liar about.

Hopefully its a new chief executive to really lead the club and take us to the next level. We just need someone with a proven track record and history of success. As long as it is someone with a background in something like venture capital, sports management, football administration, ice hockey coaching, big business leadership at multinational corporations. That kind of thing.

That's my guess, I can't actually think of anything else that it could be. Assuming we might have a big name new chief exec lined up - is Peter Kenyon still going?
