I think the same as the last world cup or two - there's only a few days where they do four in a day - typically the first Saturday/Sunday. And then obviously the last round of games, but those are at two set times so you can't see all of them.

Pot 2 is an absolute rollercoaster. Uruguay again or Croatia again I reckon. Then a bit of Iran and Canada, lovely.
-
The Chesney Hawkes song potential is massive with this one.

I think it is a bit silly to look at that Burley season as being anything to do with re-sale value. We signed players like Rudi and Rasiak etc to get promoted. Scraping into sixth was the barest minimum we should have achieved and when we blew it in the play offs, we never could recover. We know the rest.
-
There's definitely an announcement from the club that we've won the race is there? I think i missed it.

Denmark when they won Euro 92 was red with white sleeves, and Ajax is just the wrong way round stripe wise. So neither really. Both lack what I consider to be quite an important element for us which is black. Most of our very best home kits have an element of black in piping/pinstripes/etc. Ajax with a bit of black maybe could work. I'd prefer a variation on Denmark 1986, or straight half and half, sash or quarters.

Exclusive: BPL teams to agree to 5 substitutions per match from next season

The next great manager Sir Alex > Jose > Pep > whoever will be a guy who can master this. I would think we could have many more half time changes as Ralph has done in the cup. That activity will become more of a weapon now. The main disadvantage to us will be that big clubs will be able to offer more "game time" to more players. So makes those moves slightly more attractive than they already were. -
You brought cancer into this discussion when it had nothing to do with cancer. Completely irrelevant and pretty disgusting in my opinion. It's on this thread, on the record. Who's been caught out?
-
You've heard of the phrase "trying to make out" right? I'd stand down if I were you, you've already done your "what if she had cancer//nobody's talking about her having cancer" double post routine on this thread already. For the record does Jada have cancer? For the record tell me.
-
I was hoping we were going to buy NAC Breda and then develop them into a club that Manchester City Group would want to buy from us. So disappointing 😞
-
Both have long contracts so would be hugely expensive for Tottenham who aren't particularly cash-rich. Plus Chelsea will have a say on Tino. I can get why they would want them both but not the greatest of value.
-
It caused her to give a bit of side-eye/eye roll. No one actually knows how much offence was actually taken beyond that inflated for Smith to justify his actions. We know one thing: Jada took significantly less offence than the hysterics here that are trying make out Chris Rock was laughing in the face of a cancer victim. So it is not that "obvious" and yes it is "moralising". Anyway this is not something I give that much of a shit about so I will stop. Enjoyed the responses from some on here though. Just 👌

Isn't it funny that only thing you object to is the only thing that is complete conjecture: Chris Rock knew about the Alopecia and was making a joke about it. The events and information in front of your face you're all fine with. And you know someone with Alopecia, congratulations. But you don't know anyone who has been in a coercive/controlling relationship. Of course not. But they guy bellowing abuse and dishing out right handers is fine by you as long as the men are doing what they thinks is right "in his own way". Right you are. Carry on, lads. Anyway, some people think what Smith did was "unacceptable", "unreasonable", "out of line" and "wrong" and that "violence in all forms is poisonous and destructive" But you don't agree with whoever said that. Clear. You keep swooning over the big boy dishing out slaps, though. Maybe you could be that guy one day ❤❤❤❤
-
Maybe tell this guy that "its not a case of "what if she had cancer" at all: Its pretty easy based on some of the moralising going on here to actually play the card that equating a mild hair loss condition with a lethal, devastating disease like cancer is pretty much as offensive as anything Chris Rock did last night. An awful lot of misguided high horses being mounted here. Worth repeating that no one knows whether Rock even knew about her condition at the time. It's absolutely sure as shit that no one on this thread did this time two days ago. Plenty of black women have been rocking that kind of look as a choice. Its certainly not the first time that look has been seen at the Oscars. But keep climbing on your high horse lads.

Would it be right if Will Smith pulled a gun and shot Chris Rock in the face there and then? We can make up hypotheticals of what didn't happen all day long.
-
He wasn't standing up for his family you absolute plank. No woman wants her husband sat next to her, after lamping some guy screaming "take my wife's name out of your fucking mouth". In front of a packed theatre and an global audience of millions. That's possessive controlling behaviour of a fucking nut job. You want to swoon, drool and hero worship over that behaviour be my guest. But it shows you to be even more thick than I thought you were.
-
But she wasn't and he didn't. Anyone can make up bullshit hypotheticals. There's no evidence that Rock even knew she had Alopecia. The way some of you are going on you're making out that Jada was sat next to Smith in a wheelchair and a dressing gown with a drip on the go. She is a pretty rich, powerful and famous person in her own right. And looked pretty striking in her dress worth thousands of dollars. In the power balance in that joke the two involved are pretty equal and the joke was a softball bit of joshing more than some pisstake of illness. The only people mentioning the Alopecia thing are those who are trying to play down an actual undeniable physical assault, so I know where I stand.
-
Ha ha ha you fucking plank. While you carry on with your false equivalence, your big butch hero has apologised for his behaviour.
-
Soneone walking over to a comedian and slapping him in face live on stage - something that hadn't happened in 70 odd years of oscars ceremonies and hundreds of thousands of comedy roasts and jokes - is someone that has also "went too far", surely? Someone very aggressively and repeatedly bellowing "keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth" to a performing comedian is someone who has "went too far", surely? People that "went too far" deserve a slap, correct? Surely that sounds fair to you as well.
-
Surely Will Smith deserved a slap from Chris Rock for smacking him in the face in the middle of performing in front of millions of people, then?
-
Not sure it was staged in that there is no reason one of the biggest stars in the world would set himself up to swear on national TV (which is a pretty big thing still in the US) and generally make himself look like a prick on what was potentially one of the biggest nights of his career. The "hit" looked worse that it probably was: it felt a bit over-reacted to but I think probably a bit of a shock as much as anything. Rock was clearly thrown by it all.

I've read it, just usual Pompey obsession with seasons where pretty much anyone who would remember them are dead. Woop woop we were top flight in the glory days of 1923 to 1937 etc etc etc. Meanwhile Brentford are a Premier League team right now. Pompey are the Mrs Havisham of British football.

Even the lead-in is delusional. Its not just "six years in League One". They've not been in the Championship since before the London Olympics. They've been a lower league club for a decade (and will be until at least 2023).
