  1. A link to "Another Angry Voice". Jesus effing wept.
  2. Is she running to lead the country?
  3. I will totally and utterly condemn the lack of action in the Conservative Party to tackle Islamophobia. It's a disgrace and the party should be expelling those involved. No problem. I also think Corbyn's behaviour and lack of leadership on the issue of anti-semitism. Spineless and shameful. It's very easy to condemn both. Why can you only bring yourself to condemn one?
  4. But you aren't happy with the Withdrawal Agreement devised, negotiated and heartily recommended by the Prime Minister, one of the most important spokesmen for the official Vote Leave campaign supported in his team by the strategic director of the official Vote Leave campaign and the co-chairman of the Vote Leave campaign. And voted for in the House of Commons by Bill Cash, Steve Baker, Marc Francois, Priti Patel and all the rest. You knew exactly, precisely what you were voting for but it wasn't that? Strange.
  5. I think Boris will come out with a majority, not huge but enough. For a couple of reasons 1. Brand power - Boris by a mile is the most recognised active politician, and enough will see him as a leader they can see leading. 2. I don't see how the Lib Dems turn their South West target seats yellow from the Tories. Those areas are pretty heavy Leave areas, and I am not sure that Jo Swinson is going to cut through. 3. Labour/Lib Dem vote split carnage. Fundamentally the opposition parties have not got enough in the tank to beat him. The biggest obstacles Boris has is Scotland where he will lose a few, and how much Farage goes at him in northern seats. But I think Boris will come back with a slightly larger majority than Cameron.
  6. Here we go then. Interesting that this is the decade of the invention of the Fixed Term Parliament Act and this decade will end with no less than four general elections in it. The eighties had two, as did the nineties, as did the noughties. Nice to see such effective legislation in place. Also, we find out our new leader on, er, Friday the 13th. Horrifying. Anyway, how many seats will Boris win by?
  7. Operation Yellowhammer has been shut down.
  8. A few games versus Motherwell and Hibs and Ward-Prowse would look like Michel Platini.
  9. Exactly. I wish our actual defence was as quick to respond as the spin doctors in our media management unit.
  10. He'd be my first choice by a mile. Lee Todd me right up.
  11. "Again" Total goals this season: 1.
  12. When did he start talking to the unionists?
  13. Describe to me how a "peace process" works again.
  14. We're discussing it because since he became leader it has been contorted so people like you think he played a role in the "peace process". He didn't, at all. Let me know when you find evidence of all the meetings and "dialogue" he put in to talk to the unionist side of things, won't you.
  15. No one is making him out to be a terrorist. It's just pitifully thick contributors to this forum like you and aintfotever making that link. But he played no role whatsoever in the Northern Ireland peace process that led the the ceasefire. No role, at all. Because as someone so awfully "engaged" in the "process" that "led to the ceasefire" there would be countless records and images of the many meetings he had with unionist groups and those connected to unionism's extremist organisations. Because that's what he does right? He's so brave to have "unpalatable" conversations with those he disagrees with. So he must have "made the effort" to do that, right? Some people "made the effort". He, by all measures, by all standards, did not.
  16. Yes, that's definitely what I'm saying. He was discussing bombing tactics. It's what he's famous for. Gelignite Jeremy that's what he's known as down the Shankhill Road. Anyone involved in the Irish peace process saw Corbyn as, at best, irrelevant and at worst, completely counter-productive, with most observers leaning towards the latter. Check the history and stories of those involved. Anyway there might be an election coming up in a few weeks. Be sure to try and clamber off your fat arse and try and register a vote this time, or are you still too sh it scared to make a decision?
  17. Corbyn played absolutely no role in the Irish peace process. He just spent cosy afternoons fan-girl swooning over his terrorist heroes. Corbyn was not having "unpalatable" conversations, he was showing solidarity with like-minded souls. Let's remember Corbyn is so gutless he walks out of a meeting because Chuka Umunna walks in. He has no track record at all of engaging with anyone he doesn't already agree with.
  18. This is spot on. We had plenty of noble defeats against the big clubs under all our recent managers and you're right they are meaningless. Propaganda football. How about putting the effort in vs Burnley or Bournemouth. We're an absolute mess.
  19. Worst performance in our entire history and a complete embarrassment, dropping into the bottom three, two wins all season. Dreadful team selections, poor game management. If he was sacked tomorrow he could hardly complain and I have gone past caring, he's a fu cking fraud. We're likely going down anyway but this guy is not keeping us up. He's the managerial equivalent of Manolo Gabbiadini. An exciting little flurry at the start and bang, we get carried away, he's a cult hero. But people can't let it go and just won't accept that in reality he is below the standard required. Sacked tomorrow and lets get on with the serious business of getting relegated under Garry Monk.
  20. We're a wounded tiger and we are going to rip them apart.
  21. I said something in the build up thread which I meant as a humourous observation on the catastrophising often seen in pre-match threads. But it gone done turn out to be true :-(
  22. Well, I've turned off . So I might now be missing the greatest football comeback since "that night in Istanbul".
  23. There's always the rugby.
  24. Just laughed at that fifth. Joke.
  25. It would be like some kind of crazy dream.
