  1. Well, clearly it was about me, so yet another lie. I haven't complained about anything you've dished out to me so another lie. You really are astonishingly full of it.
  2. How nice. Your last few posts have revealed the real you, so let's put away your pretence of being some holier than thou freedom fighter, shall we? You can always judge people by the company they keep and from where I'm standing you're no better than your sh ithouse mates.
  3. Martin O'Neil did it with Aston Villa a few years back which still feels like the most ridiculous stupidity and like you I would be fuming if we did it. I think they were in the quarter finals of the Europa and chucked it away with an under-strength side for the off chance of getting into the qualification round of the Champions League. Obviously they didn't do that. But fair play, they never looked back after that.....
  4. You took a day to reply to me.
  5. That actually made me snort. Very good.
  6. One win since our last win?
  7. Spurs fans must be only football fans in the world who pretend that they think their manager and centre back are good solely to avoid losing face to the club they bought them from. Funny how Liverpool fans don't do that with Lovren, Lallana and Lambert, isn't it? I think most Liverpool fans will quite happily "hardly admit" that "the players they got from us were poor decisions".
  8. Clang, clang, clang.
  9. I apologise for my unmitigated gall.
  10. Clang, clang, clang. Did someone ring the patently-obvious-troll-bell? Yes, yes they did.
  11. But if Koeman, the player and the medical team think Fonte is 100% fit and they want to play him, they'd be wrong to do that?
  12. Well, there are countless examples of managers who use TV interviews to talk about gaps in their squad and a requirement for "more quality", "one or two more in key areas", "more competition", so that's what else he could say. On all the evidence I'd say Ronald is happy with his squad and the support he is getting from the club. The only "crap" is when certain football chairmen make aimless promises of Champions League football, but that's "spin" and "soundbites" only the foolish fall for, isn't it.
  13. Probably a stronger squad than last season, but a weaker first team. We sold our best player to one of the biggest clubs in the world. It's not that easy to just get better and better and better but I think we are holding up very well. We're going to finish 7 -10th and that's fine by me. Delighted to see Cedric getting MOM on here only a few weeks since he was the poster boy for the "we can't keep on selling our best players and replacing them cheaply" moaners. We've got a very good team and a squad with reasonable depth. Happy days.
  14. Basically this thread is you making up totally false positions and pretending other people have said things when they've said nothing of the sort. Like this: No one is painting that picture. No one. At all. You, and SOG are both trawling about desperate to be outraged and to grandstand about how everyone else is all awfully prejudiced and everything but, like, you're definitely not. Just pathetic. And let's not forget your ludicrous claims about friends that should be in Parkhurst right now. I've never, ever been on the company of anyone who warrants a five year stretch in Parkhurst but you apparently have with not one but two people, for hate crimes to boot. And you're the one lecturing me. Let me know when you've acted on your superior principles and shopped your mates to the old bill. Otherwise you're just as bad as they are. I look forward to seeing them in court.
  15. Would you mind explaining who "the likes of me" are? And do tell me what the likes of me "think about prejudice" because I'd wager you haven't got a fu cking clue what I think.
  16. They've scrapped the women's team idea, confining all women in Southampton to staying in the kitchen forever.
  17. Where have I said that all male cabin crew are gay? Show me. In fact show anyone on this thread saying it. You've tied yourself in a right knot on this thread, screaming homophobia at people making utterly anodyne and perfectly true points - there are gay-friendly communities in various parts of the country but you seem to object to that idea, there are jobs with a much higher proportion of homosexuals than other jobs, like cabin crew which, as a statistical expert like what you are can see is where you are, say, ten times more likely to encounter a homosexual than in the general population. Why you see this as some expression of homophobia is your problem, but you might need to start accepting reality.
  18. Who needs to be told that not all male cabin crew are gay? Who are you talking to? And I think you have a weaker grasp of statistics than me, sweetheart. The anecdotal 60% rate from that article represents are gigantic over index versus the population as a whole which is somewhere around 5-7%. But hey you know statistics, dontcha.
  19. Yesterday I witnessed a hate crime that I think would warrant the perpetrators a five year stretch at HMP Parkhurst. I've decided not to report it or take any decisive action about it now, but I am planning to use it to make a pompous point while grandstanding in a debate on a football forum in a few years time. Have I done the right thing?
  20. So you're saying you think EVERY sterotypical person behaves to that sterotype? Disgusting. Typical stereotypicalpersonphobia. I myself have met lots if stereotypical people and all of them are completely different to each other. I personally know that all stereotypical people are unique in their own way. Well, except the lesbians.
  21. Thanks for conclusively proving that you are a nutcase.
  22. Some despicable comments from a hateful homophobe. Utterly shameful. ......... Cabin crew is seen by some as a job heavily populated with gay men. How do you feel about that stereotype? I know cabin crew is regarded as the stereotypical job for a gay man. I don’t actually feel much about that because there’s actually quite a lot of gay men doing this job, so there’s actually a reason why this stereotype exists. Also, I am completely out to family and friends so I didn’t really give it much thought when choosing the job; I really wanted to become one and I didn’t hesitate – even when I told my family that I was moving to another country to do it. How true is the stereotype? In your experience, what percentage of men in your profession are gay? The stereotype is actually quite true. There’s a high percentage of gay men doing this job. I was actually surprised that there were more straight men doing the job than I expected when I started. In my experience, I would say about 60% of the men working as cabin crew are gay men. ........... These lies are from something called Gay Star news which is kind of thing that definitely doesn't exist in SOG world. http://www.gaystarnews.com/article/hairdresser-cabin-crew-and-nurse-what-it%E2%80%99s-working-%E2%80%98gay%E2%80%99-jobs240315/
  23. Really, really not a thing. It's beautiful that even the statto geeks haven't deigned to call Gastons bog standard wall pass an assist, and the forum dinlows have to pick up the pieces of their stat-guff bullsh it. Not an assist. Game over. Thank you and goodnight x x x
  24. Must be wrong. Apparently it was an assist whether I liked it or not.
  25. Proper effed up thinking right there. An assist is not the moment of conception for a goal. Maya Yoshida runs 30 odd yards with the ball, instigating a one-two with another player and lashes one home from 20 yards out, and you're giving the other guy the conception credit? Brilliant. Turns out my dad is not my dad after all, and I should have been sending fathers day cards to the guy who drove the bus he caught back from town that night. An "assist" is not an end itself and your obsession with it is just pointless stat-wa nk. If anything Maya should be credited with the assist of giving Gaston a pi ss easy one-two wall pass to be part of in the goal he ran a third of the length of the flipping pitch to score.
