  1. Not sure how you expect him to know that.
  2. In fairness I'd expect everyone on this forum to get at least two. Even Souness was a pointless answer.
  3. Probably nothing like that. Koeman, like last season, will try and win the Capital One Cup. Doesn't mean we will, because we can still play sh ite as we did at Bramall Lane but he won't be picking that team at home versus Villa.
  4. I always enjoy the "no one ever said that" routine. Forum gold.
  5. You forgot to mention the candy stripe thing, otherwise exceptional scattergun troll bombing. You'll get a couple of bites but imagine most people will get too bored after the first five or six obvious wind-ups. 5.2/10.
  6. A more transparently obvious set of clunky troll button pushing you would be hard pressed to see anywhere else on the internet. The fact that is all typed out by someone living in Hampshire pretending to be an American in America just makes it much funnier. Great work, I spotted eighteen clanking great troll bombs, not counting the screaming neediness of using the beyond parody "limey" - how did everyone else get on? All in all, 6.5 out of ten.
  7. A bit knee jerk/of the moment that article. Six month ago he wouldn't have put Leicester in there, and they could still conceivably have a terrible second half the season - in the same way that Newcastle or Sunderland under Sam could chug up to tenth or eleventh, as could Villa under someone other than Sherwood. I'd say the middle is slightly gradiated with us at the top and the likes of Sunderland at the bottom but it's only the potential whipping boys of Watford and Bournemouth who aren't in it.
  8. That is truly astonishing. I don't think I got past two minutes, jumped to the bit where he says he is watching the Rooney video, and then jumped to a bit at the end where he asks himself whether there is a Ted Bates stand. Utterly cringeworthy. Blatantly he's a poster on here. Who is it?
  9. Obviously it does. Champions League last four is a cracking achievement. Pretty much every Saints fan would explode with joy if we finished fourth and qualified for the final qualification round of next year's competition, never mind reach the semi final of the thing.
  10. In fairness the women's football thing, and the USA thing did actually resemble actual news, which is rare on any fans forum. And Les was excellent throughout and dealt clearly with some of the issues that come up time and again on here about "taking a punt" and how we will manage our ambitions, and the "financial control" rules. And even Ralph was good at putting the stadium expansion nonsense to bed for good. But the BBC should have got questions in advance and teed them up properly. Too many life stories, as other have said. So you've been a Saints fan a long time, eh? No sh it mate, you're at a bloody fans forum.
  11. Just watched about 30 seconds each of three or four of them. Utterly horrific. The two women were especially good. Please make this thread a sticky and can someone update me when the next batch of gold turns up.
  12. As you know, I've been known to take the mick occasionally but he definitely did. Ralph gets quickly carried away when he starts talking, whatever the topic, and in this instance he got carried away with laddish jokeyness. With cringe worthy consequences.
  13. The strange thing is Lou, that wasn't actually the sexist bit. Genuinely I think that was a harmless, if not hilarious throwaway one liner. The bit you should be getting animated about came after that when he said "the man who runs retail operations is called [XX] he's stood at the back but I won't point him out as you'll be after him". That is the point at which I cringed and thought he clearly wouldn't be saying this if it was a man. At best, clumsy.
  14. It's forecast to rain in Sholing tomorrow, so don't forget your brolly.
  15. He was awful yesterday, especially compared to Les who I thought was excellent and Ronald just being Ronald. Ralph just rambles himself into a cul-de-sac almost every time he speaks.
  16. So speaks the jumble sale Germaine Greer. Never stop campaigning will you - you're, like, my hero.
  17. If someone is lobbing about self righteous pomposity to the tune of "shall just we tell them to stay in the kitchen?" and "are you a sexist?" then I will specifically have a go at the person saying that. Really, not difficult, but rather dull now.
  18. This is football forum, not a series of private conversations. Happy to help, again.
  19. This is what you said: Can you show me where Batman said that women having the football bug was "wrong"? Or where he said anything that required you to start pompously doling out "get back to the kitchen" melodramatics, ultimately descending into trying to accuse me of being "sexist"? That entire response to Batman was an argument in your own head. That's why I am laughing at you. Now, I am laughing at you using the phrase "outdated gender paradigms". Two posts ago you were saying "I thought this was a football forum." Make your mind up, Russell Brand.
  20. What has telling women to "get back in the kitchen" because SFC don't have a women's team got to do with football? And it's not your conversation. Here was me thinking it was a football forum.
  21. Learn to put things in perspective yourself sunshine. Southampton Football Club not having a womens football team does not doom any women, anywhere, to "staying in the kitchen". Just pompous drivel. Think about that next time you start channelling your inner Martin Luther King, even though it makes you feel so awfully radical and dynamic and that. Happy to help.
  22. You managed to turn people being non plussed about SFC having a women's team to a "tell them to stay in the kitchen" posture of puffed up self righteousness in the blink of an eye, now you're chucking about "are you a sexist" bulls hit at me. Have a fu cking medal. Women still face countless challenges in the modern world. Having a football team in a SO postcode is some way down that list. Seems to me you seem slightly more obsessed about your daughter somehow living out your own football dream than actually considering what she might actually want to do herself. Act the fuc king poundland suffragette if you like but don't start asking me questions like that.
  23. The drivel keeps coming. Kelvin stayed at Saints to play, and he didn't move to WHU because he wanted to be playing, not reserve keeper. Awfully sorry that makes so upset but there you go. Stop obsessing about Kelvin's contract signed in 2013 when he was four years older and SFC was in a completely different situation. Not relevant, stop asking questions about it. Weird. Kelvin's Premier League record at Saints - 10, 2, 7 appearances. First choice me up. And after all that, you don't want Paulo either. Comedy gold. Funny that. Maybe we should have shipped him out in the summer and/put Kelvin out to grass, but obviously all of that ranks alongside the water fuelled car as the world's greatset challenges.
  24. No you didn't. The change had nothing to do with some Facebook group. Great job on keeping the level of self righteous melodrama going, though. You're like a Saints Web Rosa Parks, you are. Get over yourself.
