  1. Nothing like Forte in any way at all. Forte barely played at all and was out on loan for almist his entire contract at Saints, his contribution was zip. Long was signed to a job and he's pretty much done the job he was signed to do. Last season he played for us more than Morgan did.

You mean like when we didn't sell Morgan to Spurs last season and Victor to Spurs this season?
  3. The last table was published in about April, for the season before, the Pochettino season, our second season up.
  4. That's equally disingenuous. We're still putting out a phenomenally expensive team/squad, with £10m plus players in goal, defence, midfield and attack, and on the bench.
  5. Quite right. Wes rolls out the same post over and over again, knocking over a false argument based on things that no one has ever said. Can a club like Leicester or Saints finish top four in a given season? Yes, of course they can. No one thinks it's impossible, just very unlikely and very difficult. I still think LCFC will fall short and finish 6th or 7th. It's only a couple of seasons back that Newcastle finished fifth, coincidentally the last time Chelsea had a meltdown season. As you suggest, even if Leicester finish top four, it doesn't make them a "Champions League club", just one that has qualified once. Come next year, I'd say that Leicester will be, at best, struggling to cope with the demands of lots of additional games, or at worst having an underwhelming follow-up season like we are. As Les Reed has said over and over and over again, we just need to stick to our plan and hope it comes together one season for us to break into the top 4 once. We need a perfect season and we need at least one bigger club to have a nightmare season. Perfectly possible, incredibly unlikely. Good luck Leicester.
  6. Id say they definitely were. And when the club started to stray from that vision, changes were made.
  7. He really is the gift that keeps on giving. No doubt this will be entirely the fault of the evil media.
  8. I think its you that makes yourself look stupid. Calm down and have a Double Decker.
  9. Clasie has nearly played ten games, nearly, so yeah, let's fu ck him off now as a bad job.
  10. Quite right buddy. Or me. Or something.
  11. Which might suggest that three years might do us lovely.

He won't be staying. I would think he will sign a new, rolling contract in the summer to do one more year but not have a ticking timebomb contract everyone asks him about every five minutes. And then he'll move on in 2017. That will do us, and him, he'll be our longest serving manager for three decades by then. And people as ever reading too much into fairly anodyne quotes. He's not going to stay forever but he's hardly going to say that now. But if it fuels the "we ain't got no ambition" fu ckwits then at least Ron's providing me some forum amusement.
  13. Completely. Of course Leicester will build on their finish and next season will finish higher again, then higher again the next season and then higher and higher and higher for every subsequent season forever. They'll build on the foundations they will. Not like us.
  14. Any news on who the people are that aren't overly bothered by the Ku Klux Klan? Any "proof"/"evidence" whenever you're ready.
  15. Interesting stuff, as ever. I think the point stands that a country where statistically no one is prepared to accept homosexuality in an opinion poll is pretty problematic. The rest of what you say reminds me of Britain in the seventies - a general, latent disapproval/marginalising of homosexuality but still with **** Emery/Kenneth Williams/etc mincing about on the TV.
  16. Leicester are pretty much a shoo-in for seventh - tons of points in the bank. They need 28 points from 23 games to match our 60 from last season, probably enough for 7th. That's 1.2 points per game from now, so their form can drop off a cliff to, say, West Bromwich level and they'd still be 7th. They would have to collapse to relegation form for them to finish as low as, say eighth or ninth. I think it's them for the spare Europa place already (at worst) because I don't think anyone will catch them.
  17. Is this actually true??? Evidence???
  18. You are walking evidence of it.
  19. What survey "again"? The survey I quoted is from a report called "the global divide on homosexuality" by the PEW research centre and is a report based on a survey taken in multiple countries asking Muslims about their views about homosexuality. I've never used it or referenced it ever before on any thread on any topic. So, as usual, more lies from SOG. And as we are talking about embarrassment, I am still waiting for an explanation for your statement that people are "not that bothered" about the Ku Klux Klan. Any chance you are ever going to attempt to explain that pearler? And, lets be clear, the attitude towards homosexuality in, say, Pakistan, is not "extremism", it's normal. If you are saying you abhor that, then great, but it kinda goes against your previous statement that "We all need to accept the diversity and differences in our societies and become more accepting of things we do not understand." SOG - always prepared to get apesh it outraged at percieved homophobia on Saints Web. Blanket homophobia, in somewhere like Pakistan, not so much.
  20. "That's so unfair, Dad."
  21. Box of frogs.
  22. So it's terrorists and then every other Muslim in the world is, you know, just like you, like, really, right? Hilarious you single out this forum as "intolerant". You might remember your own astonishing grandstanding against perceived forum intolerance against homosexuality. I think if you found out that 7% or lower on this forum agreed with the statement that homosexuality should be accepted, I think you'd be on your forum high horse about it, right? Not very "we need to accept the diversity and differences in our societies" is it? So remind me which diversity you are "accepting" today - the 'all religions are as jolly nice as the other' one, or the 'don't stone gays to death' one? So lots if people, millions in fact, think that think homosexuality is a crime punishable by death. You think it is just something we need to "understand" so it's not "them and us". I think otherwise. But that's just me and my intolerance.
  23. Except when he scored 25.
  24. We signed Cedric for half a Shlong and all I can see is people pi ssing and moaning about how we've bought cheap. We buy two players for six million to cover Shane Longs contribution then we're looking at, at best, two players playing 15 games a season, or one covering all of Shane's game time and the other not playing at all. Both of those, as far as I can see, would have people on here wailing about buying too many, too cheap, and also moaning about how these cheap signings are blocking the pathway for our brilliant youngsters.
