  1. Nigel Pearson lost 4 matches. Harry Redknapp lost 15. How does that equate to Pearson losing 5% more games?
  2. Indeed. Indeed again. Also a team very much constructed by Burley with players he knew well and hand-picked - Rasiak, Skacel, Wright - plus other big names for the level we were at. Scraping that team to 6th on the last day was appalling, acheiving the barest of bare minimums with the resources given. He took over when we were 12/13th and left when we were 12/13th. No progress whatsoever, sowing the seeds for what came later. He was dreadful. (For SOG's benefit - Dreadful for us. Dreadful for Southampton FC. When I say he was dreadful I am specifically talking about him being dreadful for Southampton Football Club. Clear?)
  3. Read the post before. Read Batman's reply. Read them. Really try and read them.
  4. Read the post Batman quoted. Read Batman's reply. All the words. Read all the words in both posts. Read them slowly. Read them in order. Give it a try.
  5. It's pretty much a compulsion to fabricate stuff about other posters isn't it. Batman said he was shyte at Southampton. Clearly and unequivocally. Why you are hacking his post to pretend he said something different us something I'm not sure any of is will understand.
  6. You could quote the entire post, couldn't you. Here it is. Try reading it.
  7. Pretty breathtaking good fortune for Leicester this season. If we'd had that level of consistency in the first team last year, then we'd probably have been two places higher, if not better. Leicester won't be quite that fortunate next season. Or ever.
  8. How about you try reading and understanding the posts before you post utterly irrelevant information? Just a suggestion.
  9. Good for him, and them. Just the small problem that those people are utterly irrelevant. But hey, Jeremy I'd popular with people that are going to vote Labour anyway. Whoopee.
  10. Exactly. Burley was a failure and got the job at Scotland based entirely on about three months work at Hearts two years previously.
  11. It's slightly odd that their goal difference is so excellent but presumably it's just because they've had so many low score draws. If it stays like this then the lid comes down on automatic promotion. Massive club. Massive, massive club.
  12. You seem to be objecting to other, just as rational and just as likely, explanations.
  13. This means beyond doubt that he's fallen out with the board and wants out or something.
  14. No I haven't, I'll safely assume you haven't either, so you have no idea whether she loves him.
  15. Do you think she would love him and stick by him if he was a minimum wage earning factory machine operative? Circumstances and context beat "the mystery of love" hands down, every time.
  16. I call it my ghetto roar.
  17. 10 seconds of Clegg and Ed Miliband on BBC News just now made me all nostalgic for two bang average political leaders who look like Churchill compared to the bearded tit currently taking the Labour party off a cliff.
  18. Surely ITV have shown a few - the BBC have only had the rights back for a couple of seasons.
  19. Just seen the Corbyn heckle in the house of commons today. "I was in Brussels last week and I was speaking to leaders of other European socialist parties and they all said to me.." [heckle] "Who are you?" Made me genuinely LOL anyway. Andy Burnham did a reasonable job of stifling his laugh. Corbyn will be utterly toxic for the in campaign.
  20. Hang on, is Corbyn overlooking it or not? Either it's his "beloved" EU or he secretly wants out. It's not actually possible for both things to be true.
  21. Is it? Corbyn has been largely anonymous on the EU and is unlikely to make any politcal capital out of it whatsoever. I would think the stay campaign will want him nowhere near them.
  22. Remind me again. Are we aspiring to be just like Norway or just like Switzerland? I get so overawed by the positive breadth of ambition of the out campaign it makes my little negative, narrow head hurt, so it does.
  23. Palace only need to beat Reading for a trip to Wembley. That would have definitely been us.
  24. Wes seems to think that a successful referendum for him will mean the UK won't be part of Western Europe any more. Maybe a little tugboat will tow our little islands all the way round to the Pacific, leaving that 'slowest growing region' far, far behind.
  25. Why on earth would there be harmony between Nicola Sturgeon and David Cameron? Seems a rather odd thing to expect, much like Corbyn and Co won't be chummying up with the PM either. I know you see it as a horrid smear by the establishment and everything but quite frankly it is actually news when Farage, Reckless and the other one are bickering like rats in a sack. They are the entire front line of the exact same party and that party is a single issue party and this is the single bloody issue they've been waiting for. But yeah. Stop the presses. The SNP don't get on with David Cameron.
