Last game at Maine Road wasn't it?

Nice edit.

If we win we will go up at least a place. Can't see all three of us winning, especially when it seems Poch might want to give the EL the swerve.

This entire thread has verbatim reports of all the speeches and eye witness accounts of everything that happened, so yes.

Drivel. Drivel. Drivel. Drivel. Drivel. Drivel.

He's got enough in his locker to be the next Shaun Wright-Phillips, that's for sure.

That's some top three. Delighted we remain on good forum terms despite me saying I didn't care for the piping round the sleeves of the 2003-05 home kit.

D i ck Advocaat crying at keeping Sunderland up just now. That's enough to get him the job full time. Allowing him to deliver yet another drab season next year, and they'll be in the bottom five come February, where he'll be sacked and replaced by X X X who will then keep them up, that being enough to get him the job full time. And that person delivers yet another drab season the following year and they'll be in the bottom five come February, where he'll be sacked and replaced by Y Y Y who will then keep them up, that being enough to get him the job full time. Our On-the-Beach mentality is a f**king disgrace

That was legendary. He's left his mark on the forum, that's for sure. -
At heck of a lot can happen in five years - look at 1992 compared with 1997, and Blair only had three years or so as leader before that election. A Conservative collapse over Europe; or a resurgent Labour party under a new leader (not necessarily the next one); or both of those things could happen before 2020.

How you've divined "lovingly" from nothing more than the phrase "my former club" will remain a mystery. You don't like Hoddle, fine. Lots of us don't. Why not dislike for stuff he has done, rather than getting furious about stuff he clearly hasn't done? Just a bit of advice for you.

The correct word is fickelaneousness.
-
Actually some experts did say precisely that.

Nah, that column takes the pi ss out of everyone. From time to time it will take the pi ss out of us and when they do some on here go typically apesh it about the media's agenda against us and how they would never do that about Liverpool.

He tried to sign Courtois he says. Presumably pre-Boruc.

I'm not sure we would be able to go for it with the same intensity as if we were, say, fighting relegation. I expect the game will be either a 3-3 free for all, or a knock it about bore draw. Testimonial time, basically.

Right. A well sharpened word pun is always welcome. I'd been struggling to have a look on Papsweb on my phone over the weekend, just getting an error screen when I put the address in, so I'd assumed he'd blocked my IP address or something. As I was on my work laptop tonite thought I would have a wee look on there. I see what he's done. Never mind, I think he missed the point of my post (which I still think is hilarious) and I genuinely thought Pap would a) guess it was me or b) if not, at least start trying work out who it was. I had various Morecambe and Wise/Pulis references ready for him, I was planning to keep the mask on for probably three posts. The fact that he did actually think someone brand new had come on to his hours-old forum completely out of nowhere to start a slightly odd debate about Steve Wood is not something I can legislate for. Also I picked a different name driven by the picture I wanted to use but his site didn't let me upload it, so the whole experience was unsatisfactory. My vision was not realised. Anyway, this is dull. Good luck all souls building up forum communities wherever you are. The government only pays me to post on this one, so here I'll stay.

I think the comparison would be spending £50 on one Pizza Hut pizza served to you in Pizza Hut restaurant and then being surprised that it tastes the same as other Pizza Hut pizzas you've had.

I'd like to see Newcastle go down.

I'm not sure it was particularly clever using that gif twice in quick succession. An alternative animation may have been more effective.
-
Or Jerome Thomas. Either one of them.
-
I believe we should also be signing Cameron Jerome.

Looking at the table we really need to finish fifth for the integrity of the goal difference rankings. We're pi ss ing all over Liverpool and Spurs on that front. Justice needs to be served on Sunday to give the table a sensible and satisfactory goal difference vs points pattern. Otherwise, frankly, it's chaos.

If it was a ghost written piece by, say, Micky Channon, using those exact same three words would he be a hypocrite too?
