Watched it all, and the series gets better as it goes on. I thought the first episode was okay but it gets warmer and funnier with each episode. Easily the best thing he's done since Phoenix Nights which isn't saying a great deal (and he is only a co writer on this too).
His co-star Sian Gibson is great too, and out of nowhere will fly on the back of this. In a "gets lead role in new ITV comedy drama" kind of way.
There will definitely be another series.
